Second, ID has not yet been proven wrong, which is impossible, since it's unproven premisses are inherent in it's nature, so you cannot say it's disproven. Last, by comparing me, and in effect those who also belief that 3H Botcon Wreckers-stories are fanfiction, with believers in ID, you are basically insulting us, trying to paint us as idiots. Oh, please, science have effectively disproven Intelligent Design years ago.

 

And you are wrong because the 3H and Master Collector comics ARE canon and that's an undisputable fact. It is not mere fan fiction. Fan fiction is something fans write _without_ the approval of Hasbro or Takara. The 3H and Master Collector comics _have_ been written with the approval of Hasbro, hence, they _are_ canon. Period. This is _not_ something you can disagree with, ok? I'm sorry, but you can't. Just like say, for example, I can't disagree that the Earth is spherical, and argue that actually flat. There is undisputable evidence proving conclusively that the Earth is indeed spherical. Just like here, the canonicity of the 3H and Master Collector comics is not debatable, but factual. And Tarantulas, the Tripredacus Council, and the Blendtrons are all working for Unicron.

 

And once again, the IDW BW comic has established that the BWII and BW Neo characters also exist in the US BW universe aswell.

When's the last time you watched the episode? I watched it with this in mind and Megatron(Kaye) delivers the line very "matter of factly" not with any spite or venom. Listening to it, it just does not at all sound like Megs is insulting Tarantulas.

Oh yeah, right. cause if some paleotologist digs some dinosaur fossil, it doesn't mean that some giant creatures existed millions of years ago.

Ahem, I'm talking about the IDW BEAST WARS comics which Simon Furman HAS stated that they ARE in the same universe as the tv show.

Dude. I don't believe in ID, but I'm well aware of it's negative connotations. Again, I say you shouldn't bring that into this conversation. First, it has nothing to do with this topic. Second, it's a wrong analogy. And third, you're being insultive by comparing me with that.

 

And last, because I have to say it: ID, stupid as it is, hasn't been disproven. How can you proof there is or isn't a God? You can't, so it's still open for debate. You don't have to convince me that ID is a non-sensical belief, but don't claim something that is just plain untrue. OK, done with this, let's move on to the ACTUAL discussion.

 

And really, just repeating "it's true, it's true" doesn't make your case any stronger. I agree that it has Hasbro's license. I'll give you that. As does Armada, Machine Wars, ActionMasters, Wheelie, and all those other lines. Doesn't make it canon.

 

Let's take the analogy of Star Wars. As you may know, there are the main movies, episode 1 through 6, and the Expanded Universe, EU. Those 2 contradict eachother almost completely. Star Wars fans have made a scale of canonicity, with L, standing for Lucas, as undisputable canon, and EU as secundary.

 

The same goes for Universe and Wreckers. Nice story, but at the most secundary canon. So, NOT absolutely canon. They are nice stories, but that's it. It's canonicity is highly debatable. I think it's not, you do. Fine. But, please, don't act like an ass, will ya?

This already has been answered... oh within a year of this episode airing. The "Spawn of Unicron" was supposed to be similar insult along the lines of "son of a Starscream."
