think about it hasbro has never said anything legit one way or the other as to just who rules over the tripredicus council. it's so obviouse even a brain dead monkey could figure it out.

 

thier ruler is and always has been the 5 original predicons over the years.

 

think about it they  are the ultimate survivors at heart and in their unified form best imbody the beliefs of the decepticon empire as well as the predicon philosophy.

 

if anything the predicons as a society are an undenailbe clue to who their true ruler is

 

one who is born of the very primal and savage elements of nature itself.

i can agree to that. I've always wondered about the factions name thing

 

the only thing that bugs me is the G1 predacons never struck me as the most organised cons, cunning yes smart maybe but i dont think they have the social skills to set up a under ground faction with a fake front to fool any maximal who looks into them

 

ofcorse they could of had help from sound wave(or sound blaster depending f you include headmasters) to set up a network and lets say some guy from the lower ranks to ack like a front man in the beginning

Good conspiracy. If you read War Within Volume 3 you'll notice there is a Predacon faction (led by Starscream). Infact i think the Predacon (faction) was mentioned in volume 2 aswell.

Good Ol' BotCon comics. Either him or they're decended from some faction of Decepticons that left Cybertron before the events of MTMTE. Like the Paradron Autobots except evil.

 

 

But Unicron is the best fit. Saberwolf, you're forgetting an episode (which, ironically, I am now forgetting the name of), where Tarantulus clearly states that the fate of the G1 and BW transformers is irrelevant to him as he and the Tripredacus Council are not decended from Autobot nor Decepticon.

The TFs from Planet X in galaxy force arn't aligned with Unicron

Turantulas and the Tripredicus Concil either work for Unicron or the Generation 2 Decepticons, but most likely Unicron.
