Loose joints on toys

Recommended Posts

I'd recommend using clear nail polish instead of superglue - sometimes vapors from the superglue can screw up the finish on the plastic.

what about tightening pin joints?  (read:  KO megatron )

I picked up one of those KO megatrons and found that simply tighting the screws that held him together worked wonders.  (If the screw holes seem stripped, just take the screw out add a little clear nail polish into the hole, let it dry and put the screw back in).

You could also try buying a real Megatron.  :tfevil

(And no, not mine, either.  :tftongue )

You beat me to it :tflaugh1

Paper is the quicker solution to wheeljack's hip joints as it's a hinge and is partially hidden, so it will not show unless given a detailed inspection.

However if you are to pla...I mean change its poses often, plus if you're willing to wait at most a day, then go for the Nail Polish.  It'll last a little longer than paper.

I fixed all of my KO Megs` joints with testors super glue. Just a little dab into the joint then move it continuously until the glue is dry. With testors super glue total dryness occurs just about one to two minutes after application. That is why I suggest it.

try some elmers rubber cement/glue.  The stuff can almost turn into a rubber ball.
