i was emailed this. predaking i can understand. this i dont. is this too much to pay for a third party item?

This update concerns the Masterpiece Convoy trailers.

There are two types available.

The first, non-transformable type from Justitoys is still available and in

stock.  We just received the last shipment we will be getting of these.

$59.99 Canadian.  Please e-mail right away if you would like one.

The second, transformable type is already pre-sold out.  Many of you have

them on pre-order.  The main shipment was delayed until February, but we

have expressed a few units over so that we could have some in store.

These ones cost a fortune to ship, so they are $20 more expensive than the

ones coming later.  If you would like one of these, we can send them to

you tomorrow, however you must meet these three requirements:

1) You must be one of the first five people to respond to this.

2) You must have this item on pre-order already

3) You must be reay to PayPal the $149.99, plus $8.99 shipping, plus $20

surcharge right away.

sounds pretty sweet and all, can we see some pics?

First, consider the fact that this is an Optimus Prime related item. People will automatically respond by wanting this item due to a hyped up market for Optimus Primes. As you said, the other shipments are already sold out, so if you don't get it now, other people will.

but almost 200.00 for a prime trailer?

I bought the original Just Toys trailer abort a year ago when it was closer to $70. While it was a good deal relative to MP Convoy by that point (he was pushing $140+ whereas I had preordered at $92), it was still a big purchase. At any rate, it's a very nice piece and really completes the figure (l do not agree it's too short). That said, I cannot fathom giving up al least 3 BTs for the new transforming version.

I think it's expensive.

I'd rather keep searching for a scale toy trailer I can paint my self for around $20 thanks.  Can at least cut the sucker up and make it open on piano hinges.

Go find a trailer scale sized and use that.

I have the JustToys one, but I don't have much room to display it :(  I think it's big enough.
