Noboby has yet posted so I'll be the first.  :thumb

What are you talking about? Which Metroplex? :tfhuh

The only Metroplex I know that combines with anything is the new one from galaxy Force/Cybertron via Minicons.

G1 Metroplex has combiner points where the smaller 4 members of a 5-member team can link on.

It's like the G1 equivalent of Energon Omega Supreme with Prime's drones added one.

g1 metroplex could combine with silverbolt (chest of superion/leader of the arielbots) and i think hot spot, (chest of defensor/ leader of the protectobots). trypticon colud like wise could combine with motor master and  onslaught. I think there are a few others that could combine with the 2 bases. the japanese versions usually had spring loaded minibot launchers built in,....but the american versions i believe did not have these springs.

'Bot mode is nothing special.  Envision taking any of the Scramble City limbs, change them into arm mode sans fists, and sticking them to his kneecaps and shoulders.  Whee.

I'll post tomorrow with pics, lol

I didn't know that Metro could do that.  Want to see picts.  Think this would have been a great idea for our current Metroplex.

ok, first off, Cobra Island has an awsome set f pics that I found off hand and even shows "Scramble City":

here are some quick shots i took showing the connector spots on metroplex with my beat up Defensor:

Wow, I never knew that Metroplex was designed to merge w/ the torsos of the combiners. I always wondered why Onslaught and Silverbolt came w/ those ramps. Seemed kinda pointless, but now I know (and learning is half the battle).
