Done to death, but it's inevitable that there's going to be a religion set around him because of all the Optimus Prime worshippers out there. On that reason alone I hate him.

Sorry if this topic has been done to death but you can tell by my number of posts and lack of living on this board from day to day plus not being able to find an answer to my question in the search engine I can`t help myself.

Actually, I like both Autobots and Decepticons equally. My favorite Transformer is an Autobot (Victory Saber). I think Optimus Prime is WAAAAYYYY overrated, sorta like Ashlee Simpson. "Streaksearch" is going fine, it's the "Find the MISB Streak" that's killing me.

Yeah, I agree with you there. Fortress (Maximus) and (Victory) Saber are better characters, more fleshed out (despite having less airtime than Optimus Prime), are better leaders, and don't whine nearly as much as Optimus Prime.

G1 Prime is still the best, character AND toy wise. The semi and the trailer are just perfect.

prime had no depth. he was just best. no flaws. other than following his beliefs blindly.

 

now primal, he had a growth process that we could actually witness as bw progressed. that made him far more interesting than the original prime was.

 

but then again prme had been fighting for millions of years and one could make the arguement that hed already learned his lessons about being a capable leader in said time. but it wasnt something we could see. even in the time traveling episodes in g1 s2 with the ariel bots, he was some guy, then rebuilt as prime. seemed exactly the same after being rebuilt as he does after the ark crashes on earth as the war begins anew.

 

seeing the end product isnt as interesting as seeing how it happened.

prime is greatful.no one can over him.

I like G1 Prime. He's the Babe Ruth of Autobot leaders.
