i've always felt that Starscream, being high commander of the decepticon arial forces, should have his own mold while his underlings should be repaints. TC and SW being twins while Starscream is an original mold is fine by me :thumb

These colors go alot better with this mold then the original ones, but still not enough to make me part with cash over this figure.  Didnt like the mold and hate that his hand is that cannon.  If the cannon had been detachable, then this would be an awsome figure, but as it stands, not so much.

 

I agree with everyone that wanted a repaint of the SS mold, that would have been awsome.  Currently I have the Large SS, and the Thrust SS from the TRU two pack.  I really like the red and black repaint of this mold and might be tempted to pick up some more if the powers that be decided to do it. 

An all purple Skywarp? No, Skywarp is supposed to be black with purple accents. I also don't consider the orignal tan colored one to be Thundercracker. Thundercracker is supposed to be blue with black highlights. I consider him to be Dirge just like red Starscream is Thrust to me. So to me this guy will be just a generic purple seeker.

I like that he's not "black and purple", there have been recent TC & SW repaints, so now TC is gray and blue instead of blue and gray and SW is purple and black instead of black and purple, a nice way for them to evoke G1 but not be so rehashed with guys like A.TC & SW and U.SW.

 

It is cool this Skywarp could also pass as an all-purple "drone" seeker.

 

I prefer repainting this mold to the voyager one who has near 0 shoulder poseability. I still suspect that mold will get repainted as Sunstorm though(since there's evidently an LOC release of that)

Man, I'm just happy hasbro is releasing an official C Skywarp period. I know I love to Starscream, but for some reason I see this fig and am satisfied.

Weird how Sunstorm has such a following all of a sudden....

I just am not sold on the mold.  Like others, I agree that the arm would be better if the cannon were detachable.

 

I would like to have ANY Voyager version of the starscream mold (but even though i had the money i just could NOT bring myself to buy the silly two pack.... what would have been better for that thing is if SS was the original version and VECTOR was the recolor...grrr)

that captures the character of G1 Skywarp perfectly :P

I thought Skywarp would have been better served as a repaint of Sideways with the orange replaced by purple. . . especially because Sideways is capable of warping on the show.

 

And in this series, Starscream is the man. No other seeker SHOULD measure up to him, heightwise or otherwise.

That repaint of TC should be called JetStorm... not skywarp!
