The top 4 options for me. They're sturdy, well designed, fairly articulated, fun, and I love the Energon weapons. The exposed heads don't bother me in the least, mostly, they're at angles I wouldn't even look at in the first place.

While I would like to buy everything, I unfortunately have to be selective. But I buy basics because on average they are neat and often have some very interesting designs.

Sweet, plus most bang for your buck!

Actually I only got one basic, Divebomb, but I plan on getting Arcee IF and when I find her. I like the designs and the both the alt and bot modes. Personally I have more of the larger class ones, Ultras I believe like E-SS and E-Rodimus.

Basics are definately the most bang for your buck and I didn't realize how much I missed this size class until the new energon ones came out.

 

FM; Rodimus and Screamer are Deluxes not Ultras

I buy them because they're better designed than the higher priced toys and aren't saddled with gimmickry. Bigger doesn't always equal better when it comes to these guys. :)

I'd love to be a completist, but funding, and general loathing of some designs prevents me from doing this.

I like the Energon Weapons. Remy gave me ideas on how to use them together to look better. And they are built rather well.
