The new repaints are so meh. Some of them don't even to attempt to resemble realistic looking cars with their crazy loud "hey look I'm a robot in disguise!" body kits. I hope Hasbro won't try to make every single US-only repaint to resemble kitbashes which don't even try to make the color or design of the car actually be believable in real life. I was also expecting that they would at least remold the head.

Shockblast is supposed to be the "Mazdaspeed" prototype version, which is a deeper blue (though not purple):

so, to the ricochet/rollbar haters, instead of repaints with a new name released after the originals are all sold, would you prefer them to be straight repaints released with the same name at the same time as the original?  (think Meister, Tracks, Prowl, Smokescreen)

Looks grape purple to me too. The BT version is even worse from the pics I've seen. I gotta get him one day. Then Alt Shockblast will get the Alt Smokescreen treatment after I got BT 07

Man the crap they put out for this line.... If I was so interested in getting the whole line... I'd pass on this two for sure...

Bumblebee- new yellow bug

Goldbug- dah! same bug but gold!

Ironhide- that ram truck would be nice for him.

 

Megatron- a israely Merkava MBT tank! Gray with black camo pattern.

Starscream, thunder cracker and skywarp- f-22 Raptors.

 

Onslaught- a m1a1 aabrams tank!

Motormaster- Ram truck... if its not Nemesis Prime.

 

Wildride- not a s2000, but something else...

whats wrong with wildrider being a s2000, i think it works quite well (just imagine the nonreleased bt version but with red instead of purple and it would be a good likeness, just make some cones for his head and voila, plus that mold actually allows for his horns as my kitbash proved

I'm almost to the point now where I dont have room to display all my Alts. I want Rollbar for color reasons only. He still feels unnecessary.
