I saw all 4 of the new releases yesterday, but while i was trying to decide which one to buy first, my girlfriend grabs skids from me and said I had to wait to x-mas to open it and she kept walkin with it.  I tried to get her to get me tracks instead of skids so that I could open it now but no luck.  Kinda anxious now and i already have a BT yellow tracks.  Pics would be nice.  I think those flames have to go on skids.

IMO Skid's bot mode is pretty bad ass, his alt mode isn't as good as Prowls though. Track isn't all that great compared to Prowl and Skids though.

I got Skids yesterday, along with Sunstreaker.

 

Skids is much better than I originally thought - the new mold is a breath of fresh air. His alt mode and robot mode are both proportionate, and although the flames bothered me at first I have grown to like them.

 

Given the choice of Tracks and Skids, I would have to say Skids.  :thumb

Nice colors, Lots of points of articulation(minus waist), Fun tranformation scheme(at least to me). Go buy him now!

I must add my support to the PRO-Skids camp. At first, I did not like him, especially the arm transformation. I thought "Ho boy, we finally have an Alt that makes the Mustangs look good in that department"......

 

But I guess I was either misreading the instructions or having brainfarts when I opened him (after 8 hours of work, 4 hours of school and an hour of commuting time).....I just transformed him back into alt mode and "discovered" a better way of doing his arms.

 

I LOVE the articulation. I also like how he and his G1 grandpappy have a kindasorta similar way of transforming, in parts. (Namely, how the head pops through the hood, and the feet.)

 

The only thing I really don't like about him would be his gun. Too small.

 

And like someone else posted, a TOTALLY new mold is a breath of fresh air. Yes, Prowl is the first Acura, but there are similarities between him and the Subarus/Mazdas.

I have two complaints:

1 small gun looks like he's holding a water pistal.

2. I keep trying to "straighten" him up because his sloped hood looks bizzare.

 

I have a bunch of compliments.  The transformation is pretty complex, and orginal, which is nice.  The window tinting is awesome.  It's really kinda one-way, which is a nice touch.  He doesn't suffer from disproportinate limbs like other molds do, either.

His gun does such but not as much as Prowl's IMO. Prowl's gun is so flimsy and flat. Skids gun looks like something Bumblebee would carry

 

ES, your #2 complaint, I keep trying to straigten him up but not because of the hood. It's the back that gets me. It feels like it's not right even when you read the instructions.
