Alright, ive been collectiong worlds smallest figures, and i have got to say, that they Kick major butt plates. the detail and the fact that they transorm almost exactly like the originals is awesone. in fact i only have 3 real problems with them, and they are miniscule so tey can be over looked. one Bumblebee's arms, one has the shoulder joint in the middle of the arm instead of the top, so you really cant move it without him looking deformed. 2 soundwaves head, it doesnt turn, so when i transform him, he is still looking up at me. 3 soundwaves tape deck. it doesnt open, i would love it if i could hide ravage in side him.

 

i know that these are minor, and with the fact that they are so small it is unlikely that they could do much about them, it would have made things so much better.

 

give me your opinions on the ones you have.

 

p.s. starscream is the best. except for very very minor details it is a perfect scaled down version with megs at # 2, i dont have all the wave 2 yet so i cant compare them.

Well, Soundwave's tape deck DOES open and WST Ravage does fit in there. And yes, they're amazingly awesome. They're classic Micromasters. :D

 

And honestly, though I still think the original Megatron is a crap looking toy... it's WST incarnation is an absolute engineering masterpiece. The fact it retains the original's complexity on such a small scale astounds me. Really my only complaint with the line is that some of them don't have real working wheels (also annoys me with Spychangers). That, and damn chase figures.. :grrr

Does anyone know if the WSTs are coming to America? Or if they'll ever be available in a boxed set? I'm not too crazy about ordering them randomly from overseas. Also, how do they stack up size-wise to Minicons?

I get mine through a specialy toy shop, but as to if Hasbro will be selling them, i dont know, but im going to go out on a limb and say not in a million years. the toy advocacy groups would never let them. they are too small and the lazy parents would let their little babies eat them and choke on them so they could sue hasbro and be rich. so unfortunately i dont think we will get them regularly. but i see them on Evil bay, so you can get them there.

 

as for size vs mincons, hold on ill check...

 

ok prime the biggest, is taller than Ramjet, but only comes up to Rollouts shoulder.

 

Ravage the smallest, is smaller than Ramjest legs when he is in tape mode.

 

and Bumblebee, is about the same hight as Ramjet when ramjets nose cone is flipped back

THe WSTFs are great! I had them posed inside Unicrons Fists in a classic pose and also, when posed alongside Minicons, Micromasters and Fortress Maximus/bases, they look GREAT! You can even use Micromaster Hotrod as a WSTF!

 

My complaint was that OPs trailer and Megs dont always come with a crate of boxes, leaving many people (like myself) to be annoyed. After all, both were advertised on the boxes and WERE NOT advertised as Chase Figs.

 

These figs, if bought from the right places, offer some peeps the oppurtunity to buy a clutch of G1 figs at a fraction of tghe cost for their origianl sized cousins. Also, they are great for peeps eager to collect but with space problems.

 

As for the lack of moving wheels, well at least Prime and Magnus Have them!

 

Also, I cant wait for peoples' custom painted versions. expect to see Sunstorm/Skywarp/Thundercracker, Tigertracks/Police/Black Sidewipe, Bodykitted Smokescreen, Art Fire/Stepper/Megaplex, Nemesis Prime, G2 Colours, and Primus Knows what else from talented peeps!

Megs isn't rare at all, he's one of the more common ones. Jazz is the short-packed bot this time around.

Tell me about it, I bought 2 boxes of wave 2 and no Jazz and no chase. I put my extras on ebay for 2 dollars a piece. I did get lucky with wave one though, in the one box i bought, I got skywarp and primes trailer. Here is pick of them.
