Energon Ironhide

Recommended Posts

I purchased Energon Ironhide and Strascream for my nephew (since the wife would flip if I bought myself transformers, I have to live vicariously through him)...

We transformed Ironhide as was shown by the instructions, but he decided that it looks better with his legs unfolded (as if he was about to become someone's pants)...I had to admit that I too liked it that way (looks like he has real feat). What are your thoughts???

On a side note, maybe I'm just getting old but the Energon Starscream is one complex little transformer....it took me at least 45 minutes (the first time) to go from jet to robot to back again (what an awesome toy)

yea starscreams arm transformation was a killer, i still feel im gonna break his arms off someda

took me a long time to get that, i miss words on the instruction sheets

but ironhide with his feet mistransformed, i gotta take a look at that

kenshin....the way we transformed Ironhide was unfolding his legs (like he was about to superlink)....it makes Ironhide a bit taller, but at least he doesn't look like he has cankles :tftongue

I agree with you that it makes his legs look a lot better, but the downfall is it makes his arms seem that much shorter.

Thats exactly how I keep ironhide. He looks alot better IMO, and isnt very mis proportioned at all with his legs folded out.

Just steadily push Starscream's arms though, they'll be fine. I've transfomed mine dozens of times and his arms have no signs of breaking, bending, stretching, coming loose, or anything like that.

when I first tacked iron hide w/o looking at the instructions that's actually how I had his legs...needless to say when I found out the "proper" way his legs were supposed to be I was like WTF?
