The guy is right. Some transfans Complain way to much and HATE too much to realize how much there is that is new and good. SUre they reuse names, but at least it is a totally new toy everytime from line to line. Darth Vader will NEVER be new. Dont get me wrong...I love star wars , however it is true. How many little action figures of Vader are there in different poses? Too many. Yeah Optimus Prime's G1 mold has been reissued do death, however he is Has/Taka "signiture" mold IMO. At any rate, I do agree with this article...stop complainin and take time to enjoy the bots.

for the most part i agree with this article. But in the long run, he forgot one little thing:

 

When there are fans there shall be sqaubles! From Lunch Box collectors and what's more rare...Superman '54 or 240 Robert? Vinyl or steel?

Star wars Fans vs Star Treck fans.

and so on.

 

It's part of being a fan of anything, but when it comes to the largest toy line in history, there is going to be so many groups of fans, aguments, complaints, and rivalries will be abound. So as much as i hate hearing people whine sometime, i do it as well, we all do! now, let the articles wisdom sink in, enjoy it, then go back to being a fan :thumb

We DO have it good. There's really no arguing that point.

I totally agree with the story. We do have it very good when it comes to TF but alot of us complain and whine when they dont get things there way. Lets just be greatful that we have TF period! The line could have died out years ago. Me? I'm happy with what Hasbro and Takara have been releasing so far and I have no complaints at all. I think some of us should enjoy all that we have and are getting at this time because who know when Hasbro or Takara will pull the plug and say enough is enough.

Heh, I wrote that. Just fixed the author name. Honestly, I am blown away you guys agree. I was sure I was gonna be torn to shredds over that post.  :eek

 

Keep in mind I am comparing Transformers to other toys people collect. I agree, inside the fan base there will always be a hearty exhange of opinions. But in the last year or so it seems the comments have gotten much more bitter and in cases been used as a weapon to harm others. Just look at the responses to the last BotCon or what happened with people attacking Don Murphy over the TF Movie. People were soooo brutal about that. It makes us all look bad, and frankly its not  something I see as fun to watch. 

 

So let's all join hands and sing a song of how joyous it is to be a TF fan... just kidding.  :tflaugh
