Or females in general? So what does that say about you? :ghey

What?

What?

I'm sorry, but the sound of Ol'Timer's teardrops hitting the floor is drowning out everyone's voice.

Funny thing is...

Even people who love femmebots don't seem to like Arcee.

There's a few people out there stubbornly clinging onto the idea she's massively popular all across the net EXCEPT on Don's boards.

But I'm failing to see any evidence of that.

Uh oh...

No Arcee.

Happy Holidays

And the sound of a million femmebot fanboys crying out in anger.

Accompanied by the sound of the %#$& hitting the fan.

Considering that Arcee was supposed to be in it per Hasbro's request:  too bad they'll replace her with Hot Shot. :tflaugh

Personally, I'd rather have Arcee than Hot Shot.

Neither one would be the best option IMO.

All this "mass shifting will ruin the movie" makes me wonder how many of you doods thought X-men sucked because of Knightcrawlers teleportation ability. It's a scientific impossibility but helped enhanced the movie. (Of coarse if you thought it sucked regardless then I guess this is a moot point)

The difference here (and I'm glad you mentioned this) is that Nightcrawler's teleportation is a built-in facet of his character, much like transformation is for the Transformers. Therefore, explaining mass shifting and all of that would be akin to explaining exactly how it is that Nightcrawler teleports.

Which, as I recall, they never did in X2. The film seemed to work just fine without that tidbit of information.

Good point. How bout Star Treks beaming. It'll never be possible to achieve but is accepted by the general population. Of coarse the Trek d00ds love it but the regular Joe hasn't got a real problem with it. I think mass shifting would fall into the same category.

it is/could be possible as long as you don't mind dying and being replaced by an exact duplicate of yourself every time you beam anywhere

Just to be crystal clear on this point, there's a world of difference between a real live woman and an imaginary transforming robot that looks like a woman.

kthx

Indeed.

Apparently the movie may include some of the former.

A controversial move, to be sure.

Everyone knows strong, well developed female characters MUST be made of tin.

That is scary. I used to think Teleporting on Star Trek was so cool but when I read that Every time you Teleport it's not really you on the other end but a replicated copy, I dont wanna Teleport any more. What's more scary is the thought that every machine is never 100%. What if while your DNA is being copied the machine shuts down and your copy is not backed up?!
