I was watching the first episode of Victory today and thought it would be interesting to discuss the various "Master" technologies.

 

Headmasters - In Headmasters the head was a smaller robot itself that could combine with its transtector to for a super robot lifeform.

 

Targetmasters - From what I understand this was other smaller robots that were fused to larger transformers after an explosion.  What is the tactical point of this?  How would a robot that becomes your gun be any help in battle?

 

Godmasters - Transtectors that were brought to life when a human "God-On'ed" with the robot.  This transfered the mind and soul (?!?) into the robot thus creating a powerful warrior.

 

Brainmasters - Smaller robots that when placed inside the chest compartment became just the face not the entire head.  Seems like this is going a step backward from regular Headmasters.  Are Brainmasters more powerful than Headmasters?

 

Micromasters - Transformers that are just like their larger counterparts just smaller. 

 

Like I said I understand Headmasters, Micromasters, and Godmasters, but could someone tell me more about Targetmasters and Brainmasters.  The concepts for both seem really silly.

brain masters is to me the same idea as headmasters only a little bit cheaper to make toy wise

 

targitmasters could help you aim and seemed more powerfull then your standerd rifle it seems also i supose they could go into smaller areas that their partness could not fit

Targetmasters also had the benefit that in the alt mode the regular robot could mind the driving/flying, while the targetmaster partner dealt with shooting.

Another advantage of a Targetmaster is if a bot was separated from his weopon, it could run back to him.

The only advantage I could think of for Brainmasters was better protection for the Master, than a Headmaster Transecter could provide. Think about it,  The Brainmaster's body is in the chest, while the Headmaster is vunerable just sitting thier on top of the Transecter

you forgot to list powermasters and breastmasters

Powermasters are the same as Godmasters...

 

and it was the Breast Force...they were not masters....

As far as I'm concerened, Breastforce are masters. We're also forgetting action masters, were the larger robot ttransforms into a Gi-Joe and the smaller robot transforms into a piece of crap.
