You know what strikes me as ironic, is that in the translated Binaltech story they mentioned how putting better materials into their transformers would lead to better sales. :tflaugh1

Yeah Sunstreaker when standing up straight sloooooooolwy does a Jean Claude Van Damme split.

oh, it's a hip problem...

That's weird that he would do that even when he's standing up straight. I wouldn't think there would be enough of an angle in his legs for them to be forced outwards, unless you're trying for the sweet action poses or something.

Why do you all taunt me with anime chickiness? :luv :redface

Most of the joints on my Streaker are okay, except for the right heel.  My main problems are poor parts match-up in alt mode and paintwork so bad it looks like a 6-year-old did it with Crayola markers.  I'm seriously considering a total repaint, once I do some other mods.  I've already swapped out the painted yellow interior piece the seat backs are attached to with a molded black one from Alt Dead End, and that alone was a nice improvement.  But I'm waiting for Alt Streaker so I can swap his outer door panels, and I'm also going to do a hood-shield mod.  After all that comes the paint job, and I may do white stripes over the yellow body to make him a copy of the Viper Comp Coupe from the R: Racing Evolution video game.  Sad, though, that I have to cannibalise 2 Alts to bring 1 BT up to an acceptable quality level.

I have had no problems with my Sunstreaker. I opened one when I first got them in over a month ago and it has been in my display case ever since. It is in robot mode. I Transformed it once to car mode and then put it back to robot mode. It has fallen over twice that I know of when kids come around and bump the case but nothing has broken on it and it has not chipped anywhere.

Seems luck of the draw on these guys. I have sold many of these now and I have not heard anything bad back from any of my customers. Does not mean that there is nothing wrong, they may just not be telling me anything.

I have had 2 people come back with alerts with flash problems or fitting problems. I FORCED mine into car mode and have left it in the postiong ever since.

Spencer.

My Sunstreaker kind of has problems fitting together in the front of the car, on the grill. But when I stick the engine in it sort of holds it together better and when I close the hood it's fine. Also it had a small chip on the hood right out of the packaging but I can accept that not everyone is gonna get a perfect toy, there will always be some that don't have a perfect paintjob. Also I keep him in robot mode all the time anyways so it doesn't bother me much. Legs are fine on mine.

Because in some ways, plastic > metal.

Totally agree. :thumb

I'm waiting for the alt version next year. Plastic may look a lot less glamourous than painted metal but it sure presents a lot less problems. I've transformed my alts constantly and with Windcharger being the only exception due to snapping off one side of his front grill I haven't experienced any significant problems or looseness from any of them. :thumb Hope the trend continues with Alt Prowl/Sunstreaker/Skids.

So is sunstreaker worth it???

Your still gonna get em right? When hear horror stories and I want a fig I still have to see it for myself
