Hasbro may follow takara with all these black repaints like octane and possibly this override GT repaint, dark scroponok and brushguard so it could happen

DARK SOUNDWAVE!

now see... hasbro would be smart to relase this as a general release here. Fat chance of that happeneing tho....

Since when has Hasbro ever passed up the opportunity to make a quick buck off a repaint?? :tfhuh

I'm not disagreeing with you(cause I do agree) but I think those two bots you mentioned were made for 2 reasons. One, to give jungle planet another bot and two, to make the cons less out numbered. Maybe Hasbro's gonna try to say that Brushgaurd turns to dark leobreaker(or what ever his name is)

It's part of Hasbro's clever marketing strategy. By not having any new product for the holiday shopping season, they ensure that fan demand will be running high in January, just when they've all blown their Christmas cash on Xbox 360's.

That truely sucks. I so expected some good Alt Prime pics by the end of Botcon. Since they posted on their site Botcon Preview, more to come or stay tuned(what evah they said)

Quick note about these Toys Dream Project things...

Some are rare, some aren't. Don't assume this will be expensive. Paradon Ariel is easily found in Tokyo still for around $20 USD. I know because I found FOUR in Akihabara in one go. I bought all of them - those of you who were at Botcon had a chance to win one in a free auction at CapturedPrey's booth. Someone actually DID win one. And I gave two to friends and kept one for myself.

That store still had two or three. I don't remember the name, but it's the hobby store actually in the Shotengai, not on the outside.

Soundwave... I dunno, I wasn't there for his release. I had a friend pick him and Dark Liger Jack up for me in exchange for a Botcon FlameWar - but DLJ was REALLY hard to find for a bit, and Soundwave might have been too... But I'm skeptical about that. He wasn't limited release, every store in Tokyo and Japan ought to have gotten some of him in. That's much better odds than just looking in the two TRUs in Tokyo or the maybe one near you...

The black FangWolf is... Somewhere inbetween, apparently.

The point here is that you shouldn't despair of getting the toy - and you shouldn't freak out and shell out a lot for them. If you're patient and it's not imperative that you get it NOW, then be patient and you may find it cheaper... But if it's REALLY important, just pre-order it from like fantofan or something.
