Wow. I had a few of these guys. Mainly the monsterous types. Skullgrin, Bomb-Burst, Iguanus and Landmine out of the first series. I believe I received all of the Monstructors as a birthday present way time ago as a small child.

Skullgrin has to be my top favorite though! :thumb Even plan on doing an Alt. Kitbash in the near future... which would mean a third Jeep will be in my collection. Swindle, my future project of turning the Swindle mould into my personalized Real Life Jeep and then the customized Skullgrin. :lol

Or should I go with Alt. Battle Ravage's body for Skullgrin instead? :schin Hmm...

[Edit]Oh, and I agree with a few others here in this thread! If the powers that be decide to make some new characters or re-hash some old ones with better movement/articulation and greater looking 'bots, I'd snag a few if they interest me enough! :D [/Edit]

the pretender bumble bee is the best incarnation of the character

for sure. grimlok wasnt all that bad. other than that all i had was skullgrin. i loved that guy.

i saw a bludgeon alt kitbash out of the mustang. he used a marvel legends ghost rider skull and some helmet to make the head. it looked pretty cool. you could try that with skullgrin for the shell version. if you wanted skullgrin to be bashed based on the innder bot id use windcharger. skull was pretty thin and windcharger is the thinnest alt ive seen.

Overall, I think they are kind of silly with the exception of Metalhawk.  You can't beat anything with diecast, even if it is poorly executed!

I actually liked the Pretenders and still do actually...

I have:

Bomb-Burst

Bugly

Cloudburst

Doubleheader

Finback

Grimlock

Groundbreaker

Gunrunner

Igaunus

Landmine
