In the end I voted Alpha Q.

So it was YOU!  :slap

Only kidding!  :beer

I love G1 Transformers but it's the "transforming" element that makes me buy the toys, if they re-packaged him with a MiniCon I'd probably buy it.

I contacted the seller & he may be able to get me an E-Wing Saber. Any opinions on him peeps?  :thumb

Hey Siburke939,

I'm going to go against the grain and say buy Alpha Q, and here's why:

Sixshot and Quickstrike are both repaints. Granted that on your list Quickstrike is the best of the three, he is still a repaint. Speaking from a collector's point of view, it would be better to collect different molds than different variants of the same toy; Alpha Q bears the distinction that it is the first Quintesson toy mass produced for the Transformers toyline, plus the fact that he is a pivotal character, unlike the Quintessons of G1. I am painfully aware that he is not the best toy on the list, nor does it transform, nor are his play features mindblowing by any stretch of the imagination, but to buy this toy based on its less obvious merits is what I find to be a well deserved consideration in getting it.

Energon Wing Saber is at its core, an accessory for Energon Optimus Prime.

I will go for Wing Saber.  Although Wing Saber itself is not too appealing, both in bot and jet mode,  it makes OP looking great.

In the end I voted Alpha Q.

It partly depends on how much you care for articulation. Wing Saber has almost none. He is a gorgeous looking toy, though. I don't care about articulation myself, so he's a must have for me.

If his lack of articulation bothers you, then at least he gives Prime a much needed boost in the looks department. Another plus is that his alt mode is rather interesting.

Wingsaber depends entirely on two things. 1.)Your personal preference. 2.) Do you own Energon Optimus Prime. Wingsaber on his own is in a word a brick like none other in Armada or Energon. In bot mode he has absolutely no articulation except his forearms being able to swing slightly to the sides. I alt mode he looks like a very short, yet widned B2 Stealth bomber. The only saving grace here is he can fire two missils, one from each side and he has free rolling landing gear very much like Energon Megatron. Transformation is overly simple. Split the boto for the legs, fold the cockpit for the back, pull out his miniture arms, fold his shoulders back, and slap both sides of his head together and done. In bot mode though you can't really pose him in any concievable way, he still looks pretty good on display, and is awsome homage to I think it is Starsaber. Anybody feel free to correct me on that.

Given the fact his toy on it's own doesn't amount to a whole lot, as a combined add on to Prime he's well worth it. Basically Wingsaber is a puzzleformer which splits into four individual components and can together add some much needed proportion and coolness to Energon Prime. You can pose him one of two ways and either is a vast improvement. I know a lot of people really like this and I thought i would too but unfortunately Energon prime doesn't offer enough stability in his legs and is prone to becoming back heavy and topples over easily. :tdown

I've got E-Prime and I think he's a better toy than people make out. If Wing Saber improves him then it's all good!  :thumb

*Crosses fingers & hopes seller can get him!*

Go for Quickstrike.  Six Shot is ugly and Alpha-Q sucks.  Just remembering the introduction of the Energon Quints makes me shiver.

alpha q's just plain ugly. and i have bulkhead but im not to crazy about him either.

i never got shockblast so i think six shot is the best choice, he looks so cool

Voted for Quickstrike, but it's a hard choice. Sixshot his colorscheme is pretty nice, but the huge immobile left arm is a big letdown. Quickstrike is a cool robot design and a great helicopter. Although I personally prefer Bulkheads colors, Quickstrike would be a good choice.

Alpha Q...nah. Same goes for Wing Saber.

I liked super link so I would go with Alpha Q - repaints don do it for me - esp not two repaints where the originals were homages - springer/shockwave - seems pointless - if I had to get one- sixshot since he was really Laserwave's brother in the series
