Question about Supreme Toys

Well Supreme Cheetor sucked and ended up being a shelf warmer. That almost lead the cancellation of Supreme Air Attack Optimus Primal who you forgot from your list. Fans demanded him so he got released in RID. Hasbro also said that Unicron did well and that's why Omega Supreme was created. I think companies just ordered to many Unicrons.

Yeah RiD Air Attack Optimus Primal I have that one Thought it was leader sized...

It says Supreme Gorilla on the box so I think people confuse it as being an actual Supreme fig. I distinctly remember the Price of this bot being Leader class since it was first released. He's huge and heavy but he's not the 16 inch height requirement. I got him at $29.99, which was regular leader, RiD Optimus, RiD Scourge and BW Optimal Optimus price. During the days of BM Hasbro was really generous as far as pricing and size classing was concered. BM Nightscream and Ultra Jetstorm by all means should have been Leader class. They are just as big and complex as Cybertron Megs and Prime. Going by this Price and size scale, we've been getting robbed since Armada. Armada Megs was $24.99 so Prime shoulda been $29.99 but they jumped $15. Next thing we know all big Leader no matter how cheaply made are $39.99.

Megas are bigger than the used to be and they contain electronics for the most part so maybe $19 is fair. Ultras are sligtly bigger so I can see the $25 but Leader should be 29.99 and Supremes should be no higher than $40 IMO. I haven't played with Starscream or Primus but the rest of the Supremes have been big, hollow chunks of plastic.

So do you think Cybertron Metroplex should be priced as a Leader or an Ultra or a supreme (He is leader class btw)

There are various size comparison pictures

Metroplex is just a shade shorter than Unicron

Primus is just an inch or so shorter than Unicron

Starscream is about the same as Unicron (if not a little taller)

So from small to big Primus, ?Metroplex?, Unicron, Starscream

My stuff only gets shipped from Ohio (moved recently) so I don't have Omega Supreme for comparison but I am betting he is between Metroplex & Unicron

I think Metroplex should be a Leader Class as given. He's Tall but not bulky.

Forgot to say I own Air Attack Primal(Just incase he is infact a Supreme), A Unicron and  Supreme Cheetor.

If AAO Primal is a Supreme, is 20th Prime a Supreme too?

Something to remember is that prior to RID, the supreme class was no more than $30 or $40.  Optimal Optimus, Primal Prime, Super Cheetor, and AA Optimus Primal were all supremes within their lines (the largest, most expensive figures available).

It has only been after the success of RID and particularly Armada that the line has been shown able of supporting $50 releases (a feat few lines can manage, btw).

I've got all of the Supremes mentioned, except for Energon Omega Supreme (got Sentinal instead for the much superior paint scheme), plus I do have AAOP from RID, which I would consider Supreme based on his size, electronics, detail, etc and I have also pre-ordered GF Primus.

I like the Supreme size class (except for Starscream), but I do very much agree w/ the earlier statements that they should be $40 and the Leaders should be $30. All the figs would sell much better at those prices. $40 you can talk yourself into much easier than $50 (it just sound like so much).

Supreme Primus -- Can you really call yourself a Transfan if you don't own SOME KIND of representation of the Great God himself?

I like the Supremes. Good group. Ha ha. No, seriously, they're just the right kind of impressive to make my friends who refuse to take a closer look at the smaller bots, go.

Hell yeah!!!

I was under the impression that Supremes don't sell well in general, but maybe that's just a personal observation...

- The stores here in Montreal are all clogged up with leftover E-Unicrons, Omega Supremes/Sentinels at full price ($75CDN), as well as a crapload of Cybertron Super Starscreams...

- My parents keep looking at my current collection of Alts and GF/Cybertron figures, and keep going: "Remember the G1 Sky Lynx that we bought you for X'mas 15 years ago?  That was $40CDN back then, and that was REALLY expensive.  $40 back then was like, a week's worth of groceries.  How many parents do you think could justify spending a week's worth of groceries on 1 toy?"  (I then proceed to tell them that $40CDN could get you... *points to Cyb.Scourge*)

So I dunno.  I kept thinking that Supremes are shelfwarmers in general...

Optimal Optimus was released has a Super figure. Which was larger then the Ultras at the time. AA Op is bigger then him and was classed has a Supreme character at the time. Then Armada came and Hasbro started to adjust the price points. The leader class didn't even come around until Cybertron. So at the time of release AA Op would be a Supreme class figure. If released today he would probably be at the leader class.

Beyond that I own

Supreme Cheetor

Supreme Primal

Supreme Unicron

Supreme Omega Supreme

Still need Starscream and I can't wait for Primus.

Own Supreme Cheetor, Air Attack Prima, Unicron, Omega Supreme and Starsceam.

Aside from Cheetor, I like them all. Am getting GF Primus simply because it is easier to order him from www.archonia.com than to import the US version.

And which Transformers fan would not want to own him?
