Where's the Matrix?

Recommended Posts

hey xbob, cybertron is destroyed in headmasters... does it ever get rebuilt or anything?

Seibertron was not 100% destroyed

This is what happened, after Scorponok and the decepticons destroyed the original Cybertron, Rodimus Prime (with the matrix inside him) and co. left for other planets to locate more autobots and colonize new worlds now that theirs were destroyed.

After the TF:Headmaster series ended all the Autobots left Earth and looked forward more autobot forces in space.

When TF:Masterforce occurs, ( 10 years after HM) it is known that All the Autobot forces are gathered in deep space and their leader is still Fortress Maximus, altough he doesn't posses the Matrix. He traveled through a black hole and arrived on Earth to help and retrieve all the remaining autobot forces IN DISGUISE (pretenders) that stayed behind.

With Ginrai Prime (Optimus Prime's clone) as the new autobot commander, and now in space with all the other Autobot forces, It is known that there is a new Autobot space colony composed of several planets ( planets known: Master, Micron and Beest) led by Star Saber, as a defense front against all the Decepticon forces spreaded in the Universe. Still no sign of Rodimus Prime and the Matrix.

When Ginrai Prime "died" at Deathsaurus hands, Star Saber took control of the Autobot leadership, but lacked for a matrix to be transformed as a "prime", although Ginrai was reformatted as Victory Leo, he became a combiner with Star Saber (Victory Saber), and his old body cloned of the original Prime, remained beyond repair in stasis lock.

When TF:Zone occurs, there is no mention of any Primes in any form and Victory Saber is the Supreme commander af all Autobot forces.

It is only when TF:Battlestars happen, that we learn that Rodimus Prime had kept the matrix and used it to bring back to life Optimus Prime, I believe that it was using either the original or the cloned body, to create Star Convoy, and therefore the last? original Optimus Prime that we know as Laser Optimus Prime in G2. when the Autobots returned to Earth, that's why it's called Generation 2.

And then there is TF: Armada......

so that means other transformers rebuilt cybertron?

when star saber and victory leo merge, there has a machine in saber's head, looks like matrix, although it wasn't matrix

remember that unless a leader dies, the matrix is not passed on. Think how long the prime was missing presumed dead in the beginning of g1. He still kept the matrix.

but anyway, while we're on this topic, is there any word of there being any of these jap shows on dvd in the states?
