what's the most pointless accessory?

Recommended Posts

I transformed alt shockwave today, and I decided that his muffler is the most useless accessory ever.  Both joints are loose, and the pegs are too small to fit into his palm snuggly, so it looks like a limp noodle.

what do you guys think is a lame accessory?

You mean his gun? Yeah, he hasn't much use for it in robot mode either.

I don't have that problem. My Shockwave looks pretty cool with his gun arm and gun, blasting away.

Force Chips :P

Force Chips and Energon Stars, hands down...

At least minicons are robots in themselves.  I don't forsee anyone in the near future wanting to buy say, a 3pack or a vs pack of force chips instead of an accessory pack of energon weapons, which would be waaay cooler.

Best use I can think of force chips outside their intended purpose is to superglue a safety pin behind them and stick it to a baseball cap/shirt/ etc.  The Energon Stars could double as cuff links.

I agree w/ all of these comments. The force chips/planet keys and energon chips are all a waste of plastuc IMO, plus I am kinda irritated by the fact that there is no where to stow Shockwave's gun when he is in bot mode. Do need it for an accurate car mode, but in bot, it is redundant and annoying.

Well, there is a little peg on his non-gun forearm where you can "store" his gun.

His bio even makes mention of that, saying that his gun can link to his gunarm as a power booster.

G1 Optimus Prime's hose, nozzle and fuel pump.

But those had playabilty for little kids. Heck I remember when I was a kid, damn that was over 20 years ago, that I use to play with my Transformers and used Primes trailer as a base thusly using the hose, nozzle, and fuel pump on other autobots.
