On the German eBay site, a seller was listing Overlord.

I wanted to wait untill the last minute before bidding but I forgot about it and when I finally got out of bed this morning, the auction was already over.

 

The price is extremely low for Overlord and I missed it. The 2nd time I lost an auction for Overlord. My disgrace is great indeed. With this price, how could I have missed it.

 

Of course the highest bidder could be the guy whom I lost to the first time and re-sells them on international eBay. He could have gone higher than I seeing how I am on a tight budget and I have other stuff I need to buy first.

 

Still, a darn shame indeed.

but dont worry, ebay.de regularly has cheap complete Overlords (I should know, I got one for 50 ;)  )

Don't feel too bad, considering that this Overlord (seems) to be missing the following:

 

 

The black jet (the one that disconnects itself from the larger body)

The big purple gun he carries

Giga (The white Powermaster figure)

Purple dual gun embankment (that attaches to the Powermaster slot of the jet)

One radar dish

One grey scout car (the one that can hold one Powermaster figure)

 

..and that's only based on what you can see. Not sure if the gun and the repair bay arm in robot mode is there or not.

 

It seems like he has the gun for Groundshaker, one Actionmaster gun (I think it belongs to Shockwave, one accessory I can't identify, and 4 cannons for Actionmaster Optimus Prime's trailer. Probably worth something to someone.

 

Keep looking. I'm sure there's cheaper Overlords out there.

I had a bid on a Jetfire figure that was incorrectly listed as Skystalker (was looking for him actually but $10 for Jetfire is hard to pass up on.) but the seller ended the listing because of an error.  :tfsad

 

Then again, I did not expect to win him anyways so it is not a big loss.

 

Will focus on the good stuff. I should finally get seasons 2 and 3 of Enterprise on DVD. Been wanting them since they came out but a colleague at work could get them cheaper. This week he should finally deliver the goods.

 

Add to that the Blackadder box set and I am in heaven.  :thumb Ok, nerd heaven.  :tftongue

To get the best deal you can on Overlord, I recommend only getting a complete one or a MISB/MIB one. I got a friend who has 2 Overlords and neither of them are complete. It cost him $90 CDN for each and now he's hunting down the parts - all of them. I didn't even counted the missiles missing on my last list - but fortunately, they are the same missiles as Metroplex's, so if you can go to Transrepros.com you can get replacements. So far, my buddy spent just $100 on the Powermaster figures themselves...

The same goes for the combiners. Buying a single fist can cost you a fist full of bucks indeed.

 

I think I should just ty to find one complete one day. I still got plenty of time for that though.
