Loki, I think your idea is VERY interesting. I have the exterior of my trailer about 95% done, so i'm staying with a traditional exterior. But it does give me ideas. I was considering a rifle rack for prime's laser rifle, along with spare energon magazines for it.

 

Siburke, it's called an army duck. As for posts for BTA figures, I might do that. But largely, I wanted this to be a base for the transformers.

 

Another idea I came across that I don't think anybody's considered: ever notice that prime's trailer seems to have roller and the Art/Mech bot one time, and plenty of room the next? I was thinking about a modular system that allows Prime's trailer to be customized for specific missions. The Art/Mech robot could be a lock-in module, as well as the roller launcher asnd the specific weapons contained therein. The rifle rack, gatling guns, roller, Art/MechBot and everything else could be plug-in/lock-in modules that can be swapped in and out as the mission requires. addiditonally, perhaps evn the weapons on the Art/MechBot can be swapable as well; missile launchers, dual laser cannons, robtic manipulator arms, ect. prime can transform; so why is the trailer's only transformation simply fold-down doors?

Glad it helped in the idea department. I like the gunport  idea you had. What you could do is have ehe walls open up from the front of the trailer to form a fortress wall. Have panels on both sides lower with guns atached on the flooring which would now be in place of the panel hole. The guns/cannons whatever you decide could aim out ward as as primiter defense. Also you could have gun mounts on the opposite side designed for the alts to use on the opposite side. Or just cut a huge hole in the panel, and mount the guns with ball joints for added mobility.

 

As for mine I've decided to seriously rethink it, and go with the container idea and have the alts stored on the lower level on blocked platforms where the sit sideways three to a side. The platforms will then lower each car so there upright. Ramps will lower on the opposite sides of the platforms/panneling for easy in transit departure. From there everything will be the same. Also since I don't steal anymore of your thread I'm going to start a new topic once I sketch something solid. :thumb

So far, the basic trailer and Art/mech bot are assembled. I put two huge turbolaser cannons on the art/mechbot, and I'm toying with the idea of having it change between two "modes' ; guns pointing forwards for artillery mode, and guns pointing down for mechanic  mode. when in mechanic mode, the cannons sorta look like legs, so i was thinking of revising the artmech robot a little, so that it sort of 'transforms.'

 

The main problem I'm having right now is the fold down door in the back. I have to rebuild it becausethe one I made of plexiglas cracked right in half. I have to redo the blasted thing now, but at least it won't look as bad as it did earlier. My problem now is finding a suitable hinge for it. I don't want to do the old "flop-down' version. Perhaps this too needs an update.

 

I'm hoping to have schematics up soon, and pics within a week or so. Will continue to update as progree is made.
