Well...  I can understand why some would like it plain because as Loki put it, it adds to the whole robot in disguise thing.  As far as Hasbro take on the paint schemes, I guess they can be more desirable.  To me, I don't know, I guess I'm still stuck in the past & the nostalgia of Transformers & the joy it brought when I got my grubby little hands on them.  I guess I just wanted to bring that feeling back.  So for those who rather have theirs plain, you got it & have the opportunity if it is not plain to thin strip them.  For the others like myself (more specifically on this model since it holds more meaning for me) there is the website that WRX-78 gave.  In conclusion, there's something for most if us.  Don't hesitate to give your opinion!

I prefer my Alts and BTs to have as realistic vehicle modes as possible so no stickers on Meister or Tracks and Swerve. I heard that those Scion decals are optional on the real car but they're still ugly to me. Unfortunately Decepticharge doesn't have a BT counterpart and I don't like modifying my Alts, except adding repro barrels, so the decals shall stay.

by the way for those of who passed on smokescreen because of the decals (robot in disguise thing), he was based on a real rally car.  I know because of somewhat of a car nut & was familiar w/the subaru rally car family.  In fact, I give props to Hasbro/Takara on getting the licensing for it.  Plus they came out w/a second version of him because of the change of numbers of the rally cars.  Of course they may have been forced to change it.  Who knows.  Again, Smokescreen's car mode is realistic in fact it may be more disguised because of the background of the rally car! :tflaugh

TIMEWARP!  I Put the Repro stickers on my Alt Jazz. Sometimes I wish I didn't. It was fun putting the stickers on and I was proud of the job I did. It looked very cool, like he was finally Jazz. Other times though, I look at him and feel like he doesn't belong with my other Alts. Like he's a bootleg or something. It comes and goes.

 

Outside of that Meister and the other RX-8s are my favorite Alts as far as posing is concerned, out side of the Mustangs and my modded Prowl. If the RX-8s had Knee/thigh swivel like Prowl and Skids and elbow joints like Prowl or bicep swivel like Sideswipe and Skids, they'd be the ultimate Alts to me. I absolutly love their ankle joints on the Alt version at least. My Red Meister is so heavy, it's hard to pose em like I do my Alt Meister and Shockblast. My Modded Prowl Would greatly surpass him in posability cept the way they designed his head to have limited motion. He can't look up like Meister can. You can still put him in all kinds of cool poses but bending him down and he's looking at the ground instead of forward....that looks silly.

 

Why do they always take away the one form of articulation that would make a figure 100% perfect.
