ok, I said I wasn't gonna get htis up until sunday, but the art history test I have tommorow isn't that hard and I can study in the morning...my devotion to getting this pair's other merged form done was too storng O_O so anyway, I have my test tommorow, and then I gotta study some japanese, but after that I can finaly finish up the last pair and then do the one and only Landcross! booyah! It'll be my first gestalt pic ^_^

Anyway, I figured out how to make my scanner scan pics nicely, so it isn't all garbled like my other pics, but unfortunately, I really drew to the edges of the paper, and my scanner is a couple centimeters too thin, so parts of the pic got cut off :(

I'm really happy with the overal composition I got with this pic, and yes I gave his hands the DW combiner treatment again ^_^ aren't they so nice? So I hope you enjoy this pic!

Nice! Who is he? I dont remember him in "Victory".

he is part of the multi foce...is actually 2 micromasters...think of it as Powerlinking 1.0. On half is a shuttle, the other a car. Those 2 would combine with the 6 others to form Landcross. One of my fave combiner teams

Yep I got the re-release set too ^_^, though I based my wing off of the stickers on the original wing, as opposed to the stickerless wing of the re-release. Yeah, surprisingly, tacklemach is the ONLY of these alternate combinations shown in the TV show (he's in the eppisode with the farmer guy who tries to powerlink with the mole, funny >.<) Anyway, I'm glad you guys are enjoying these ^_^

Man, I tried coloring your pic but everytime I go to fill in an area, the outlines get covered up in Photoshop. :tfmad Anybody have an idea of how to make the lines darker so they don't get covered up by the fill?

O'l timer, here's what I'd do.

 

Take the black line art and duplicate it in another layer and label it "line art". Now you should have two peices of line art. Leave one on the top and don't mess with it, jut make sure you can see throgh it (don't leave any white spots).

With that done, just color on the lower layer to your hearts content and you should have fewer problems. I might recomend trying to use the brush tool for your coloring more than the panit can, that way you have more control.

If I may make a suggestion. Try setting the "line art" layer at Mulitply, (it's in the layer's window in a drop down menu underneat Normal) If I remember correctly that can could possibly get rid of those white lines in your colorizing. You may also wnat to try using the brush tool to go in and fill them in manualy, dont' be affraid to go over the line art in the layer you're doing the coloring in. Trust me with the line art on the top layer it will turn out find.
