Some of this is some funny and intertaining. Other stuff will piss TF history buffs off. Especially Buzzsaw.

Brushguard (s0u6):

A cousin of Overhaul, Brushguard was lured by Megatron into a life of evil by hollow promises of money, Energon and power. Brushguard, though a brilliant scientist is secretly in love with movies from Earth. He has an entire collection of primitive Earth DVD’s that he watches while he is in his laboratory cooking up monstrous viruses and genetic mutations for Megatron. Hs dream project would be to create a bio-mechanical Autobot eating plant that resembles the Earth Venus Fly trap plant. He would teach it to talk too – it would say, “Feed me Brushguard!

Backstop (stw7):

Backstop is an ancient and wise master of martial arts. He may not look like it due to his stocky size and Rhinoceros alt-mode, but deep within this thick-skinned bot lies the beating heart of a master warrior. At one time he was just like Scourge and Leobreaker – quick to anger, full of rage and unable to keep his temper in check. He went on a journey as a young Transformer to find the meaning of life and saw the galaxy – he learned the secrets of martial arts and the teachings of the wise from ancient masters like Banzai-Tron and Bludgeon...upon his return to Jungle Planet, he was a changed Bot. He realized that fighting may be important, but it is what you fight for that makes you a strong warrior.

Wreckloose (su39):

Wreckloose, mush like everyone else on Scourge’s team is a dirty fighter. He will set up elaborate traps and booby traps within the forests to capture his prey. Once while on patrol, he got word that some of Snarl’s friends from the other side of the Jungle planet were going on an expedition into the deepest reaches of the forests. Wreckloose spent days wiring up a particular section of the jungle with highly corrosive Technaracnid spider webbing. As the Transformers walked into the trap, Wreckloose moved in for the final blow. The Transformers never knew what hit them...

Runamuck (dw3a):

Similar to the Transformers: Cybertron toy Blurr, Runamuck is a throw-back design to a Transformer character from Generation One. Runamuck, back when he was introduced in 1986, was known as a Battle Charger. His original toy had a pull-back motor feature that when activated, would send his vehicle mode scooting across a flat surface. When he was transformed into robot mode, he could also roll across a floor by pulling back on his wheels. He had a near-identical Battle Charger partner named Runabout too and in the old Transformer comics, these two were hooligans and trouble makers— going so far as to spray paint graffiti on the Statue of Liberty!

Longrack (d48m):

In 1999, Japan introduced a new Transformers series – it was called Beast Wars Neo. There were a ton of figures in this line like a rabbit Transformer, a horse Transformer and even a penguin Transformer! But one of the most interesting in the line was Longrack – Longrack was a giraffe Transformer! His function was a Deputy Commander under an Optimus Prime character that turned into a Wooly Mammoth! This is the first time Longrack will turn into a vehicular mode!

Blurr (d0y2):

This toy is actually an homage to the Generation One super-speedy Transformer Blurr. Blurr was introduced in 1986 in the original theatrical release of Transformers: the Movie and served under the command of Ultra Magnus and later Rodimus Prime. Blurr is the fastest Autobot known and was known for talking too fast for anyone to even understand what he was saying. Blurr also was in almost every episode of the Generation One TV series season three, and this is his first reincarnation into a modern Transformers toy line!

Buzzsaw (df58):

Buzzsaw is actually an older Transformer name that dates back to Beast Wars! In 1995, Hasbro created an all-new line of Transformers toys called Transformers: Beast Wars where old characters were reimagined into animals. Megatron became a Dinosaur and Optimus Primal was a gorilla. One of the characters that was never in the TV show, but appeared in product was Buzzsaw – a yellow jacket wasp. This toy, which originally was used in Transformers: Armada as Cyclonus, was given a new head mold that resembles the Buzzsaw toy from 1995, and a paint job the hearkens back to the colors used on the Beast Wars toy too!

Backstop studied under Bludgeon and Banzaitron? i guess those 2 G1 characters are actually good in the ACE Universe.

Nice touch to refer to the older lines like that. I think it really shows where Hasbro's going with the line after Cybertron.

Um.... Longrack's commander was a wooly mammoth? :redface

They should have just said Buzzsaw is a homage to the Beast Wars guy and not G1. But I guess they forgot. Any hoo, it seems these bios were writen for Kids any way and not Super Fans that already know every thing.

I know....... but still........ :tfmad

Yeah, they should get their fact straight before they preach something as gospel. It's like saying Perceptor mad his debut in the Movie.
