Marisa was really a she-male, so that could account for some of the PWNage...

Plus I bet you learn at least some basic PWNing skills when you're Flint's daughter..... son?

HE'S NOT A BRICK KTHX

He's a bird of prey and scary mountain cat.

rar

did that ever confuse anyone the first time they saw skylynx? i was all "why does that cat thing have skylynx's voice and wered he go?"

and for the love of god g1 galvy is not a brick. and evryone stop comparing g1 to mp's kthx.

i take it that the box art is depicting the scene when Galvatron emerges from the lava bath at the begining of G1-S3?

yep, it's by TF artist Guido Guidi. He did some work for the DW comics, as well as the BotCon comics and had his artwork (including this piece) featured in the Transformers: Genesis artbook.

I know for a FACT that that is photoshopped. I googled that just SIX minutes ago while looking for an avatar.

like it, but i'm attatched to e-galva! and i agree, g1 galva was quite articulated for his time.

preo-order'd!

I just go a G1 Galvy through Ebay several weeks ago. The toy is in surprisingly good shape, except for the dulled black chrome and ruined stickers. Reguarding articulation I was pleasently surprised what Galvy had to offer considering he was released in 86. Not the best TF in the world but I like him for what he is. He's massive and actually stands several inches higher than Energon Megatron, and though he's blocky, he is fairly proportionate with the exception of his forearms. The only thing he's missing is the cannon and connector

Reguarding the Galvy repaint, I think it actually looks pretty good. Not a hundred percent show accurate but close enough IMO. I can't see him being worth $100+ but If I could spare the money right now I'd probably get him. Great display piece and a lot of fun to fiddle around with. :thumb

Box art doesnt change the bricktastic figure

Galvatron is not a brick, and is in fact one of the most poseable toys in G1.  (And that is not damning with faint praise.  I think only he loses to Jetfire for not being able to turn his head.)

He's got universal shoulder movement, elbows, waist rotation, hips, knees, and toes.

wasnt comparing him to 20 year old tech or g1 ;) and ....no its not a patch on what i consider to be decent figures, I dont care about how many points of this that and the other he has, fact is even armourhide has far more posability than this. For a figure of this size its comparative tech is rubbish, granted its not Star convoy bad but still poor.

I'm sorry to keep harping on this, but you're totally insane. Look at any other G1 figure in Galvatron's size class and tell me that it's rubbish articulation. Metroplex? Trypticon? Scorponok? Heck, he's got about as many articulation points as Jetfire does. Yes, there are basic size figures out now that have greater articulation. But I would submit that a ball joint, while allowing for universal movement, does not represent greater design complexity than the ratcheted joints Galvatron had. Nor do these basics have sound and light features, something which was also extremely rare for Transformers in 1986.

And yes, Sky Lynx had electronics and more points of articulation............

BUT HE'S A GHEY BIRD THING AND almost NOBODY LIKED HIM

errm I didnt say anything about the others in his size class FROM his time, nor was I comparing him to G1, nor was I counting how many crappy points of articulation in him (he is still only has about 3 poses in robot mode regardless and one of them is lying on the floor). I dont get why people like this figure personally, it was a hugely compromised design where the transformation method consisted of push legs in, lift chest, rotate and move arms down, whoo hoo, oh and for gun mode you move the arms slightly and pull the `handle` down, amazing. That is by what I mean by rubbish tech, at least with the original G1 stuff (mostly) you had to think about it when transforming them for the first time (or you would break it) Galvatron you could literally do it with your eyes closed.

Personally I describe anything huge with a very simplistic transformation method as a brick, because to me its pointless, I like my transformers to have a bit of complexity in them otherwise you may as well buy action masters. IMO of course
