Sorry to here things going so badly for you. I pray things turn around for you and your wife in time.

 

Reguarding giving up your collection, I agree with everybody here when they say you're doing the right thing and proving to all your inner strength as a loving husband.

 

I've never been in a situation where I had to give something of mine up for someone I loved but if the time ever did come for me to make that sacrifice be it friend/family or a loving wife I'd have no problem selling them all off. Not saying I would like it or not miss them but that pain is nothing when compared to losing a loved one. Besides as everyone has already said toys can be replaced, a loving friend/wife can't be.

Never feel disgraced or shamefull of you've done, any self repecting TFan let alone human being would surely do the same.

 

God be with you in the days to come. For better or worse he is always with you.

Tazbot that, I don't see how this is a disgrace. We all love Transformers because of our memories of something. You can have 5 or 500 toys and you'll still feel the same. The size of the collection isn't what is important.

How about a collection? I'm sure everybody here has got at least one double in their collection, even if it is just a micromaster or mini-con. I'd be happy to go up in the loft, (where all my TFs have been banished to - temporarily of course,) to see if I've got any little bits to send. Don't think of it as a charity, think of it as a little bit of love from us all. How'd you feel about it peeps?

Since you're a transformers fan, you should already know Prime woulda given up his toys for his wife too without hesitation!  And after reading the posts in this thread, I've yet to see that anyone considers it disgraceful.

I think I might be able to come up with something for this.

I'm in too.  Gaiares, best of luck in the time to come, and remember positive thoughts help out a lot.  I know it sounds hokey, but it really does help.  On your part and the missus.  You made the right choice, and nobody faults you for it.

I'm off work next week so I'll have time to look in the loft. I dunno what doubles I've got, (not much probably, but I'll find some good stuff I'm sure.) I'd rather they went to a good home instead of putting them on ebay and paying all them listing & paypal fees.  :thumb
