I was just wondering, did any of the BTA toys have background story like the regular Binaltech toys? As far as I know, I don't seem to recall seeing any posting of background story of Red alert, Sunstreaker or Broadblast on any forums. If I'm wrong can anyone post up the stories.

I think the writer guy made a public statement refusing to write BTA stories....

IIRC Hirofumi Ichikawa inferred that he was never instructed to write any backstory for the BTA line.

He said he was writing a backstory for Black Widow but whilst he was doing it, was told to drop it as it was going to 'annother line'.

The BTA figures only come with little comic strips of them having anime misadventures with their Human partners.

weird

The BTA Sunstreaker I got has a page in there labeled Story, but since it is in Japanese, I don't know what it says. I asked about this before and no one said anything, so I'm not too sure what that page is about.

Chris

Thanks for the replies guys... but that's weird that Takara would write such interesting stories for all the BT and give the BTA nothing in terms of background stories. Makes no sense to me. Unless they saving the stories for the BT line and may mention some of the BTA figures, ie *Sunstreaker when they talked about Dead End's body.

Only way it would make sense is if it were "fan requests", and they didn't want to mess with the official story for characters that don't actually exist in the Binaltech/Alt world.

Still, I was looking forward to reading their chapter in the series.
