Had to go with the G1 version... It started everything and the character was just one of the iconic figures that will still hold for another 20 years.

Just based on the toys though, I'd have to go with RID Prime, brought them back to realistic looking cars and really cool looking and well articulated figure.

Fire Convoy, baby! One of my fav TF toys, even if it is a fire engine rather than a semi.SDiconsrid-optimusprime.gifSDiconsrid-superprime.gif

I voted Powermaster. He's a brick, but he's so fun to play with. And why isn't MP Prime on here...or is he so obvious he doesn't count?

I voted for Fire Convoy. The toy is just superior to any of the others on the list.

The original got some consideration for nostalgia's sake, but Fire convoy makes those good things even better.(toy wise)

yeah, where is MP. Of course, he would have no contest, cuz he is the undisputed best TF yet.

If we were talking about the best character then I would have went with the original Prime, but seeing as how we’re talking about the best figure I had to go with RID Prime, that bad boy brought it to another level.

Yeah a lot of good primes are missing. While MP/20th prime was a sinch to win what about

Laser Prime-

Hero Prime-

Optimus Primal-

they all coulda been contenders without over balancing the vote.

I voted G1 :thumb . He started it all and I can’t even count how many of them I had as a kid (I think 4 but could be wrong, smokestacks always broke, at spot they are cut now, and thought it looked bad so my parents would always get me another). He had many accessories (roller, missile launcher thingy, ect.). When I think Prime I think G1 Prime. Don’t stone me for saying this but Energon is second in my opinion. I love the way he looks. I love his combined mode (I don’t care what anyone says it is just like RID, in that all of the Primes sence G1 have combined with something, except the parts that combine with him are there own vehicles). Even in fat little mode he can move and looks cool IMOP. I like how the Prime parts are stored in the trailer. Just a cool toy. Fire Convoy fell apart to easily in combined mode for me, every time I would move him all his parts would fall off. I loved his little mode :thumb , but man was he hard to transform, back into a fire truck, all the little parts wouldn’t snap together right for me :tfsad . Well anyhoo G1 Prime is my vote (IF Masterpiece was on the list he would be a no contest).

Had to go with RID Prime. He's what got me back into TF after years of BW disapointment and his regular bot mode rules!
