there you can see early versions of rewind & eject

(Different cassette picture on the front)

the e-hobby minibots came from a similar picture

so i'm guessing thats where the idea for the cassette came from.

Uh, maybe.  This looks like the pamphlet that came with every G1 TF (in which many of the toys had slight variations from the final product).

So yes, the figure will probably look like Rewind/Eject.  But the cassette-bot is supposed to be an original character- I haven't seen a case in which e-Hobby picked up on a minor prototype variation and created a 'new' toy based on that difference.

What I want to know is this e-Hobby release going to be able to hold two cassettes?

well, it looks like he has the remolded tape deck.

also according to BBTS, Broadcast is due out in Febuary while Twincast won't be available until April.

has anyone confirmed the reissue holds 2 tapes, how can you tell from the pics if it has the twincast or blaster door? dont they look the same when closed (unlike soundblaster/soundwave), ive never seen a twincast in person someone educate me!

does the original twincast have a molded design on the tape door where blaster's autobot sign is? if so, it looks like the ehobby has that door and should hold two tapes.
