Sonic Bomber...

Recommended Posts

So, I really like Sonic Bomber as a character, and was looking to purchase one, but when I was looking back through all of the internet galleries of him that are currently up, I noticed that I couldn't tell whether his arm could ratchet out to the side underneath his shoulder covers.  In all the pictures it looks like it can, but I've never actually seen any pictures where the arm is ratcheted out to the side at anything but a straight 90 degree angle down.  If it can't rotate out that way, then that would be a huge flaw in an other wise pretty damn cool toy.

Yes it can, but you have to move the underside of the wing out like he was going to combine with Prime to do so.  Granted if he was going to do it and fly and fight at the same time, it can look pretty cool.  The other option is moving the entire arm up and out.

Agreed. This figure for some reason did nothing for me. I have been a huge suporter of this line of toys so far but a few of them have totaly bombed IMO. This and the Megalo Convoy are two that will never adorn my shelves. I think I had my loose one for a total of one week? Yah, about a week before I got rid of it.

Spencer - who still has not made a decision to keep Soundwave or not yet.

I have to agree with you on the main point, Spencer.

Some of the figures have definitely been extremely lackluster, but actually look fantastic.

Landmine: Looks terrible, but he's actually one of the best figures in the line. No doubt.

Soundwave: Excellent figure, transformation is a pain in the ass and his legs aren't the best devised. Still worthy of a purchase and keeping in one's collection.

Sonic Bomber: Vehicle mode is t3h shiz. Robot mode needs work. Combined mode is a pain to actually create, and the transformation of the figure period...is a pain in the neck.

All in all, every line has hits and misses, but GF/Cyb at least does one thing the others haven't...even if the figures suck in certain ways...they at least look cool. Guess that's all that matters to some.

Vector Prime sure looks cool, just sucks as a figure. =\

Anyone else who owns GF Soundwave feel he/she is like Mrs Soundwave?

Those legs and feet combined with his big chest and fancy pants head just always makes me feel he is a lady.
