Dead Ends

Recommended Posts

I got a picture from a toyshop, its alternator dead ends, but there is a mark of word "NOT FOR SALE" on top of the car.

Can anyone tell me whether it is A class product or B and is it worth $24???

Please see picture attached below.

what is an A or B class product?

all I know is that this is a test shot/prototype, because of the 'not for sale' stamp

ok...if I had ANY hesitation in this figure...after seeing this...

buying him...lol...even IF the d-con symbol is red on his chest...

That's quite a find. Whether it's worth $24 or not depends on your stance on testshots I guess; I'm sure a lot of people would pay a lot more.

I have seen it go on ebay for up to 60 bucks, but my experierience with Protos and test shots is that the joints are weak, and it seems to come in an almost played with condition.

No more protos for me or test shots, my e megs proto is going to be one fun kitbash though.

I really wish it was Sunstreaker. Hehe it would be cool if they secretly designed the entire stunticon mass to merge with a MP Motormaster. But we can all dream. I don't like that they chose a car that was apart of a team :(

Sideswipe and Sunstreaker are a team (Imo) Deadend is a team with the rest of the Stunticons. Seeing one without the other leaves me with an empty feeling.

I don't know... Maybe it's just the picture, not that I'm knocking the camera operator, but Deadend's robot mode looks like he was just suprised by a paparazzi coming out a strip club or something...

I couldn't agree more.

The car mode is fantatsic, the robot mode is better than Sideswipe, which is not really saying anything. Basically having the windshield make up the chest area was a bad idea. Other than that the best alt mode I've ever seen.

I don't understand why Hasbro makes so many Test-shots and gives them away to people who sell them, why?

I love the way he looks and will buy it (as soon as I see him). I, however; don't like the sidswipe mold that much, not much articulation in the legs, alts IMOP sould have that. Even without the movement in the legs his still is cool (I just hink of G1, looks cool but don't move that much). Lastly man does he look cool or what. :thumb
