Looks excellent. This is why I don't understand why they have these exclusives in the first place and have scalpers selling it at the price of a first mortgage on a house when you can simply customize it to a gold painted toy.

Well, I guess it could - I haven't tried it yet, but I am sure the paint would chip.  :redface

 

All in all, it's a good effort IMO.

I think it looks good. But the gold paint looks more like copper or brass to me. I don`t know if you did the painting but if you want a really gold look you can do one of two things. You can base coat with silver or chrome, and then paint the gold over top of it or get a can of really shiny gold spary paint I think the brand I used on my Rodimus was Duron.

I know what you mean - it does look almost copper in the pic... but in person it does have more of a shine to it.

 

Funny thing is, I didn't paint it. It was on an ebay auction some time ago, and I picked it up for $6.00. That's less than the regular bot in most cases!  :tflaugh

you should shoot it gold, it might look cool. sides, for just $6, what you got to lose?
