Energon gave me homages galore but this is why Cybertron is quickly becoming my favorite mainline. Feel free to disagree with my choices. But seeing as Geewun has been analyzed to death, I thought I'd take a crack at the new kid. ;)

Evac (Eurocopter Dauphin series) - The tail section is more angular but clearly lifted from the trademarked Fenestron rotor assembly.

Six-Speed (Toyota GT One) - They've ripped off the GT One since Micromaster Tailspin. :)

EDIT: Correction. trench says it's generic, elements from various GTP cars.

Armorhide (Volvo Globetrotter series) - Debatable. There might be a better match, but I think it's likely a European model they were looking at.

Red alert (Dodge Magnum) - There's even a police variant.

Overhaul (Humvee) - One of the more loosely based comparisons.

Jolt (Bell 47 series) - Well at least a bubble canopy style copter.

Crosswise (Bugatti Veyron) - How many threads have we had on this? :)

Soundwave (Lockheed Have Blue) -  I know you're gonna say F-117 but look it up, the tail section is different. And the Have Blue is the Nighthawk's prototype.

Hot Shot (Chrysler ME 412) - Don't argue with me. :D

Thundercracker (Sukhoi Flanker series) - At last. I (heart) Hasbro. Now where's my camo redeco? I demand Warsaw Pact colors! Sorry, got a little carried away there.

Wing Saber (A-10 Thunderbolt II) - Stylized, but unmistakeably Warthog.

Runamuck (Nissan Skyline R32) - Why oh why did they have to butcher this car? *cries*

Metroplex (Giant Bucket Wheel Excavator) - Very (and I mean very) loosely inspired by the giant excavator of doom. Yes I know, the first doggy style transformation?

Honorable mentions:

This is the stuff I left out cause I felt it was too generic. As in not any one unique feature stood out (to me) to make a good comparison. Use your mad google powers and help me find them. :thumb

Jetfire - I had trouble finding a 6 engined jet transport.

Cybertron Defense Hot Shot/Red alert/Scattorshot - I don't know enough about military hardware to be certain that they match up with any specific model.

Landmine/Mudflap - I don't know enough about construction vehicles.

Reverb - Nothing stood out, generic to me, raised hood reminded me of the Ram SRT-10.

Downshift -  Very controversial, likely it's not any specific muscle car. I still see a lot of Caddy influence.

Lugnutz - Most likely a Harley, but there's plenty of custom bikes out there.

Street Speed Minicon Team - They've all been remolded to look less like the Mercedes CLK DTM (thanks trench), Saleen S7, and Cadillac XLR they were based on. The Armada toys were a better match.
