Well, I like yellow cars. :P Anyway, I think he looks less of a bananamobile than BT Sunstreaker does. (And I seem to recall that most cars are just one color anyway... at least they have been since that whole "two-tone" thing went out of style. :D)

 

It's not really that hard to do this; I just used Testors enamel thinner and a bunch of Q-tips. After you're done, use a chamois / soft rag to buff out any residual goo, b/c it can make the plastic look dull. The most offensive stickers (IMO) are the easiest to remove -- the ones on the side panels and doors (heat transfers come off a lot easier than paint). Do be mindful of the silver "S2000" logo, however; if you're not careful you might get that one too. But that's why you use Q-tips -- I was never in any danger of touching it. And if you're patient it's really not that big a deal.

 

P.S. I had originally bought the paint thinner to get rid of the pink paint on Air Attack Optimus Primal's MUNKY butt, which I (thankfully) had just enough left over for. I'd post a picture of that but ...well that'd be kind of an odd thing to take a picture of.

The robot mode isn't really changed any, unless you look at him from the back. I just thought you guys might be interested to see what a non-decaled version of this guy would look like. I like him immeasurably more now. :thumb

Damn! When you asked me if the hood was yellow plastic underneathe, I didn't think you'd buy em this quick. Cool to see though! Almost makes me wanna get rid of those fake advertisements foreal. I display em in bot mode most the time, so it usually doesn't bother me too much.

Yep I digs the real. You can get the S2000 minus the carbon fibre hood. Nothing wrong with makin it more of a robot in disguise.
