I've got just about all of them, ther nearer the nineties, the tougher it is for me, as I have no idea what the names of most of the pretenders or micromasters are. I went to btocon and didn't even see a thunderwing....

The further I've gotten along with my collection, the more I've definitely begun to love the stuff after 87. Pretenders are kind of ugly by themselves, but a whole shelf of them is awesome.

And although the micros are simple, they follow the same principle. Hell, there are over 100 of them and very few are repaints.

I didn't like Micromasters at first, but then my brain kicked in and reminded me they're ol skool minicons.

I've been recently going back and buying all the original G1 stuff after pulled in by all these awesome re-issues.

I also collect the Alternators/Binaltech and-- more recently-- the Cybertron line.

My goal is to get MOST of the G1 line. I'd try to actually collect the whole line, but I just can't bring myself to buy those super-crappy "Pretenders". Blech!

Anyway, here's my collection as far as G1 stuff.

I agree w/ the G1 statement. My goal is to collect the complete years of '84-'86 (only missing about 6 from '86, otherwise complete) b/c those are the good years of the good ole days IMO. Definitely gonna skip over the Pretenders and whatnot from later years, not worth the time or the effort to get them.

Very nice pics of your collection, and a very nice collection. You have some really good figures in there (you have alot of what I think are the important ones). You should take more pics and post them in the Collector's Corner.

Oh, and welcome to the Boards!!!
