I was wondering being that we are all collectors and Transformer nuts what are the lengths you go to find your toys. When I hear that a toy has been spotted I start my search. I will go to Wall-Mart in Laurel MD during my Lunch break from work (around 12:30), which is the time that they get done stocking to shelves, and sometimes still aren’t done. This is how I got Smokescreen :clap . My wife and I always go to our Wal-Mart after 10:30 P.M. on Saturday to do our grocery shopping so I can search the boxes that have just been put out on the floor (not open yet). If I see a box marked Transformers I will cut it open with my keys to see what inside. This is how I got all the wave two basics, Alt Sideswipe, Ironhide (actually before anyone else had posted a find of any Energon, way back in early December :thumb ). Whenever I am looking for an older toy, I will check Ebay everyday, as well as BigBadToyStore’s Vintage section to find to hard to find toy I want (Ex. My Japanese version of the orginal Blackarachnis MIB :clap ). With the Toys ‘R� Us Reissues (yes I feel like the only one of you who bought everyone the day it cam out, and for full price, Stupid sale :tfsad ) I will call Toy “R� Us every Wed and Fri (the days they get shipments) after the relies date (lately I’ve bought them From Toys R Us.com a week before they come out they always seem to have free shipping). So how about all of you what are the lengths you go too to get the toys as soon as possible.

spend long hours on ebay, spend hours in line at walmart

I stay behind my computer for the most of the time as over here is not much in shops

 

so the lengths is from my bed to my PC :P

i hit tru, then hit beyond comics, then hit target, then hit walmart on a toy hunt

 

usually i can get this done before 12pm so i dont miss my calc2 class

I usually Check a local sighting board too see if anything new has been sighted. If yes, then I hop in the Vikmobile and start hunting. Sometimes Ill check every place in town.

Watch the Texas Sightings post and see if anyone has found anything, and watch ebay. Right now I am seeing a few of the wave 3 things on ebay, but not much else. So they are starting to show up, but havent made it this far south yet.

 

Then it becomes a quest, saturday night I go to walmart at around 2 am, while they are stocking and check the boxs. Then sunday morning, hit Toys R Us, and Target before searching for breakfast.

 

Things I cant find, I usually buy from online.

For G1...ebay and the End Cap here.

 

For new stuff, I either wait for it to come to me (at KB) or go to one of the three Targets, the Walmart or the TRU by my house.

 

For Japanese Stuff, I go to Toynk.com's warehouse.

I hit the places close by, and if I see a TRU, KBs Target or Walmart and have time I stop in to see what they have.

 

Tryin out End Cap right now, so we'll see how that goes.
