The new reissue has been announced by Takara this morning.

Battle Convoy ( Laser Prime ) is to be reissed in March of 2006.

Japanese retail is 5500 yen and they come 4 to a case.

One of the best Prime molds is coming back. No word on the electronics, yet I would be surprised if they were removed.

I will have preorders open later this evening.

i hope this doesn't mean that Takara is finished with G1 re-issues and is now moving on to G2 re-issues :redface

I think its just part of a general trend of (re-)issuing Convoys.  Star Convoy,Pepsi Prime, Battle Convoy.

In Japan G2 had a pretty short run....

Any chance on an ehobby redeco?

re-issue RID Black Convoy?

Whilst awesome for those who don't have one already, if this thing comes with improved paint apps like Star Convoy, I'm going to kill someone.
