Did anyone catch this news yet? Transformers 2 ps2 game due out in 2006?

I can already tell you that page is out of date. Atari sold the rights to Transformers back to Hasbro. Apparently they didn't make enought off the first game. I don't know what Hasbro has planned for the liscence, if anything.

Transformers Armade was one of my favorite PS2 games actually. I had a 100% game, I don't see why they just won't make another one. I really want a good Beat Wars or G1, but like that will ever happen.

Yeah, that must be a old page, atari doesn't have the rights anymore, they even posted about how the game was going to be a while ago.

Interesting. I hope a better company picks it up. The armada game was pretty good, but I think I could have been a little cooler. I'd like to see them go old school g1 or cybertron. And have more transformers to play as. I'd like to get a modded ps2 and pick the Japanese transformers game, that has all g1 charectors. It would be great to get a death match mode in the game too. If anyone hears anything please follow up.

I love Transformers for the PS2. I played it to death. :)

And the vehicles should have ripped off the control method for the warthog in Halo. Seriously, as much as I love the game, I have real trouble controlling the TFs in car mode

Ya card mode was a little tight on the controls. Lets hope they add a 1st person shooter multiplayer!
