So what IS that story behind Rodimus from Energon?  i just caught one episode where they thought he was working for unicron, and that pissed me off because RODIMUs KILLED UNICRON.  But I guess I miss understood.

Seems wierd they would totally drop him from the Cybertron line cause he did seem cool

But at Botcon the Hasbro guys were saying that each new Transformer series is suposed to be brand new, and has nothing to do with the one before it.  When it coems to America they change it so it has some continuity.  I don't know what to think about that.  Seems like it would leave a ton of plot holes.

Damn why don't they just make a NEw series from America.  I love anime to death, but they obvously have no idea how to handle the Transformers, get it back to where it belongs!

Rodimus was Working for Alpha-Q. Alpha-Q does not work for Unicron. Years ago Unicron was attacking Planet-Q, the home of the terrercons. Alpha-Q and Skorponok decided to call in Team rodimus for help. Team Rodimus dosin't make it to Planet-Q in time, so Skorponok self  destructs the planet in the hope of stoping Unicron(an action that leads to Unicron hiding as Cybertron's moon and harvesting negative vibes in Armada) Alpha-Q's spark somehow survieved inside Unicron and created a suit of armor for it'self. Alpha-Q created his multiple personalities so he could have someone to talk to. When Energon is discovered Alpha-Q uses this oppertunitie to revieveUnicon(by creating drones out of the former citizens of Planet-Q)  and use his mighty god-powers to recreate Planet-Q and it's citizens. Rodimus helps Alpha-Q's effort becuse he feels guilty for not showing up on time.

Just to add, He still wasn't evil or helping the Cons.

haha!

you say plot holes as if there was a plot to begin with

My theory for the Cybertron series is that the black hole is really just a giant plot hole formed from all the Transformers series that came before.  :tftongue

hot shot looks like a cross between hot rod and bumblebee

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

ditto

And i hated bumbleebee but loved Hot Rod. It's like Yen and Yang in Transformer form

Yeah, every TF series now has a young idiot who gets molded into a leader.

Cheetor matured in BW, then led in BM.

Armada Hot Shot got into a lot of trouble at the beginning, lost the Star Saber, got pounded by Scavenger, yet he was the one that Optimus gave the Armada-verse version of the Matrix to, and he led the Autobots until Optimus came back, and even afterwards he led the strike force against Unicron himself.

Hot Rod = Cheetor = Hot Shot = current TF idiot.

Cheetor matured in BW, then led in BM.

I really, really hated that he lead in BM.....i caught an epside on ytv last night and it just pissed me off....why was cheetor ordering rattrap around like he was a new recruit or somthing, cheetor sounds really cocky and just turned from a great character to a real jackass.......i remember in beast wars (which i so dearly love) when rattrap used to smack cheetor around

R: "Hurry up get flying"

C: "I need a running start!"

R: "Do i have to do everything!?"

*Boots cheetor in the ass*  :tflaugh  :clap

Thats just my opinion.....which basically has nothing to do with the Hot shot - Hot Rod conversation :thumb

Haven't watched all of Energon, I'll get back to you next year about that :tftongue

Energon Hotshot had as much personality as G1 Prowl or Bluestreak........Which was none if you dont remember.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

bluestreak did have a personallity, he seemed unsure of himself to me, thats why he kept making the really bad jokes.

hotshot is not hot rod, as said earlier on he's the young recruit

Meh, atleast their not calling him Rodimus Major anymore.
