It is coming with a G1 style custom box already.... but I know that none can compare with your talents dude!  :thumb

I don't like a bit :/ This try to make Alt looking like G1 is total failure for me... I'll stay with my BT Meister :P

Looks awesome to me. I agree, the feet do look a bit off, but definitely don't change my mind about me not minding having one of these!

Very awesome toy, man. You must post pics when you get him.

Do the knees only bend backwards??

Wow... there is quite a split of opinion on this one... (lol)

To each his own, I guess.  :tftongue

The knees are from an Alt Smokescreen - and I don't have mine in front of me to check, but I think that the joint allows it to bend both ways. I think that it's the way he is posed in the pic.

I have a ton of more pics that Jaf sent to me - and IMO it looks great. But then again, I have that nostalgic sense of a GeeWon fanboy that started twenty years ago.

This Jazz does it for me!  :thumb

I will post pics as I get the toy in!

Does this bot really transform? I notice that the car rims are different from bot to car. The car is almost perfect. The bot.......I like the feet but hate the legs. The look naked for some reason.

Hey Gang,

Thanks to all for the comments & critiques. I'm the creator of this kitbash and am a self-admitted "G1 nerd".  For those who weren't kids watching the 1984 TF tv show and drooling over Sears or JCPenny catalog pics of the so-very htf items (even back in the day), I don't expect you to 'get' the appeal of changing current TF's into G1 renditions. But for anyone else it tends to be pretty fun to see. :thumb

The car and bot in the above pic are different TF's. I made two of these, one as the actuel car used for the G1 JAzz (seen in car mode) and another version of the  Porsche 935 shown in bot mode.

The legs, as with Smokescreen, bend both forwards and backwards. The bot is fully poseable and both versions transform.

Here are some other pics:

Enjoy.

The alt smokescreen legs allow for bending both ways at the knees, but the rear windows being situated behind the knees here probably limits any bending of the knees back.  Tman, the wheels are different because they are 2 different custom Jazz.

Given the limitations of kitbashing, I think Jaf did a great job.  I never liked the feet of G1 Jazz so it doesn't do it for me here either but as a homage its good.  :thumb

I'm a G1 nerd, I remeber getting Jazz, Wheeljack, Prime, Megatron and Soundwave on Christmas of 1985 and I love my diaclone car-robots, but  I find myself prefering the updated look of Alternators.  The old guard is just too dated for me now.  They are fine for the original molds, but the Alternators are a logical upgrade.

still it is as you said fun to see what someone can do.

I said this on tfmaster's forum, but this is an incredible piece of work. Now if only the Alt/BT line where actually like this they couldn't keep them on the shelves.
