I've had a dusty old G1 Prime with Trailbreaker's fist for like 7 years. When Collection #0 came out, I wanted it bad so I could have a fresh clean Prime but then Photos of MP Convoy surfaced. Nuff said. Now I was thinking about getting #0 again but now with THS surfacing with trailer and roller for probably way less than #0....getting that reissue couldn't be further out of my mind. In fact, if I get THS 2, I might even give old dusty to the kids.

 

Why did TF take so long to get incredible cool.

I used to but now with Alts, MP, RM and now HBS reinventing the figs the way I've always wanted them to be, I can't help it. I've lossed all interest in actual 1980's G1 toys. I love the ones I have and they're cool to show people but even as a kid I wanted toys like we have today. It didn't matter to me that they weren't cartoon accurate. I just want some toys with a full range of motion. I'm not just picking on G1 but all the Action fig annoyed me. During roll play, I wanted the figs to be able to act out what I was thinking. It sucked wanting my figs to be sitting at the bridge of their space ship and none of them had leg articulation.

 

I have the 18" Spider-Man 2 fig and Just got an Invisible Woman fig and I am so blown away that toys have finally come along. It took 20 yrs but I guess the bright side is I can buy my own stuff now. My figs wont be on any more space missions but atleast I still can pose them.

Thank the Japanese toy industry for that!  Remember a few years back how the first fully-articulated action figures came out there?  Sure some of them were in full Super Guts Poses but they were heavily articulated nonetheless.  And they had replaceable hands for cool dynamic action poses!  It's good to see this level of articulation finally making its way into transforming toys!

 

BTW, I remember NEEDING to get Op when he was reissued.  Upon getting him, I also realized and remember quite fondly how the Autobot emblem stickers won't sit right on his shoulders due to the rivets molded in the plastic.  Nostalgia rules!
