I'll pass. I already have the original correct color version.

This would have been exciting news.....

If Takara didn't release their Astrotrain reissue two years ago. But I guess it's good for G1 nostalgics who can't have access to Japanese goodies.

lol. weve got them lying around on the ground and used as wall filler over here in japan! u poor sods!

why only have 3000 pieces? :tfevil

What's the problem??  The Takara reissue still sells for $40 plus shipping online so this is saving the US fans $15 on the price and who knows how much on the shipping.  If you want to mock the US fans, laugh at us for not getting so many of the other great G1 reissues like Megatron, Soundwave, and the rest that didn't get the TRU treatment in North America.  :roll

Good idea. You Americans don't have Soundwave and Megs? You poor sods! :P Oh, 40USD is pretty steep, maybe they've been imported in Europe and US so they warrant that cost. Astrotrain costs about 30USD in stores here in Asia, and probably less in Japan. He's still rather easy to find over here, and therefore his value isn't really high.

:eek  You poor creature!  And I thought the lag from GF to Cybertron release was bad...  :redface

Back on topic, "by week's end" may have been a mistaken release date because it's now week's end and it's still "Coming Soon!"

wtf is "sods"?  I know what S.O.B's is...

I look at this way, 3000 limited pieces that are acurate in color for both mods.

I say let them have their wall filler!

Shame this is the final American G1 re issue, for me anyway, cause this figure is one of the few that I still have from my childhood in almost perfect condition.  And I never even really liked him that much... well his robot mode anyway.
