This is an idea that has been hinted at before but never continued on, Transformers based on DC/Marvel characters. Most mentioned nod is Megs as the Batmobile thus being Batman, Overhaul as Wolverine (for which I have a custom Paint job I found online which I'll show after the text) Vector Prime as a Green Lantern corps member.  But what others can there be?  I just got C-Sideways and looking at him I (personally) see the Joker, hear me out-He has a HUGE grin, joker hat ears (yah its a stretch) and rather large clown feet, even his plane mode has a grin about it (there's two "panels" above the windshield painted they could look like eyes).  I mean there's any number of possible comic Characters out of C/GF Transformers, hell Sabertooth out of Leobreaker (his colors are animalish enough- just needs a different head).  Any other thoughts on this concept?  Drawings, Digibashes, Kitbashes???

Im scared at the thought. unless your thinking of marvel pretenders?

No I mean DC/Marvel INSPIRED paint jobs, like said Wolverine above, certain parts/designs on some of GF/C transformers seem like a nod, like Overhauls "claws"

I argue these "homages" are all completely coincidental at best/fanboy imagination at work.

I know what I was suggesting was Reapints for said figures, and who would be approprate for which TF Character, I've seen Green Latern Vector Primes before, and this wolverine, and the idea that Megatron looks like the Batmobile (which in itself falls under what Im talking about)  All I ask is for people to see beyond the "plastic" and see what they COULD be.  geez

Would this thread be better under Repaints or Art Gallery?

Hey, at least they would be al;ot better than those megamorphs things.

that wolverine paint job looks pretty good.  I can't think of anyothers at the moment.

the claws on overhaul are nothign more than a hint as to what he becomes. i thought this was obvious. Look at his face as well. it looks kind of like an animal's.
