Hi,

Here is a pic of my black Diaclone Tracks. It is the Finnish release and was bought new sometime in the mid-80's.  Unfortunately it is not in perfect condition and one of the missiles, some stickers and pilot figure is missing, but I was surprised it still existed after all these years.  (The missing parts might still be somewhere in the attic.) I also found the box (featuring a red Tracks for some reason.)

Picture here.

Neat!

Ya know, rumor has it that a black diaclone tracks never exsisted. But I could be confusing this with something else. Anyway, I guess it is real then. :thumb

The Finnish Black Tracks Diaclone was a sort of store exclusive back in the 80s in Finland. They were sold in R-kioski kiosks in FInland, came with same copyright as the Japanese diaclones and even featured the diaclone pilots as well. Grapple, Mirage, Ironhide and I think Jazz and Inferno were also available.

All the best

The other piece which is holding the trunk has been broken off and there have been some effort the glue it back quite unsuccesfully :( Otherwise it is in pretty good condition for an attic find, that I haven't seen for approx. 15 years.

I have the Mirage and Ironhide somewhere too, but without any packages. Should have bought them all when I had the chance :)  Do you know the exact year when these were sold?

I now remember looking at the these through the R-Kioski window when I was about 4 or 5 years old.

It's rather strange that Finland was to only country to have them in black.

Great find. Wish I could find things like that in my attic.

Somethings just look great in black. Seeing this I'm sorely tempted to get an extra ALT Ravage and using parts from a Tracks/Swerve to make this as an Alt.
