Then it would probably also surprise you to know that I think Alien 3 is the best one.  Aliens was the worst.

Seriously, I would have left it open, rather than having the end as definitive as it was. The Autobots shouldn't have lost prime, but they shouldn't have taken back Cybertron either. I like the "ruling bad guys /rebel good guys" thing, as it makes their task all The more important. By ending that, they pretty much ended the war, and any point to the G1 story. Them taking back Cybertron back is the climax, and should have been the last major thing in the G1 universe.

Well, since I've had 20 years to think about this...

 

Nothing new, really. When the movie came out I wanted Galvatron and Megatron to be different guys. But it is what it is.

As a kid (and maybe even a little now) I thought Galvatron was different guy. It's only in later series that the name change means nothing.

 

I mean, Scourge and Cyclonus are definitely not the insecticons and seekers.

 

 

EDIT - Oh, and what would I have changed? I would have actually seen some of the original bots before they all got totaled, instead of just seeing their bodies laying around later. If they're all gonna die, at least let them fight a little bit and then croak.

I love prime just as much as the next guy, and he is my all time favorite character, but he had lead the autobots for MILLIONS of years.  The chosen one Rodimus thing was great, it was the story writers that made him such a wuss that is to blame.

I was never a fan of Rodimus, but i like Hotrod. somebody please explain to me of why that is.

 

The city battle required more in-depth fighting. There were about 40 or so bots left out of the picture. If they remake the movie, do a emotional take on it where as SW3 showed the slow killing of all the jedi. Replace the jedi with the autobots and you got one of those heart wrenching scenes of the bots getting slaughtered. Its anybodys guess what happened inside those walls

I think that would've been a really original ending, but it was G1, so pretty much everything was orginal.

THE END

the movie could have revealed megatron's origins since season 3 hinted at the master builders creating him but they never revealed who gave him life though,

i always figured it was alpha trion.

they could have explored primes relationship with alita in the time leading up to the movie and portreyed him as a man who had lost to much to the war by the time of the movie showing a quick series of scenes explaining his rather abrupt change of character as he goes into the final fight with megatron explaining in the process how she died with the song  for the fight  being the end has come

 

 

they could have explained hot rod away origin wise as being primes son and ultra magnus being primes brother as well
