Dear TRU Starcream/VP 2-pack owners,

Recommended Posts

I know what you mean....after seeing this Kitbash by Tramp on Tfmasters Transtopia...it makes buying this more attractive...

but, how was this kitbash done? does anyone know where we can find out?

That is freakin awesome. The paint he used to make him look metallic....just awesome. I would like to know how he did it, too.

Yep, Alpha Trion will live in my collection.... someday when I have time to kitbash him.

Well since were gonna get a standalone Skywarp in the cybertron line out of the SS/VP 2 pack Vp will become Alpha Trion

And any other seakers will be made from the Skywarp repaint.

Hey, what's the MSRP on this thing?  I saw them yesterday at TRU for $45, and I thought that seemed awfully high... wasn't the Optimus vs Megs pack about half that price?

Every time I go to TRU I just stare at the set. I really want the SS but don't need another VP. Does anyone know if SS will be released on his own?

Also, I love treating this SS as Thrust. I would be freakin' sweet if Hasbro/Takara/E-hobby/some company would release a full recolored set of all the seekers using this cybertronian form. E-hobby should at the very least release Sunstorm. :drool

You will not see a stand alone release of SS in the states. It's just like last year's TRU Energon 2-pack (mini Megs vs. combiner OP). And you never saw any of those japan releases in the states before or after the release of that boxset. This will be the same with SS.  Either get the VP 2-pack, or buy the giant sized version.

I specifically never bought VP knowing I'd get this 2-pack later for the normal sized Starscream.

Well the VP colour scheme from the 2-pack is really not as good, but isn't it the same for all Transformers by Hasbro in general? :tflaugh1

i skipped it and imported GF starscream... and i'm thinking about burning my cybertron Vector prime and ordering the GF version of him too

dude don't burn it send it to me. i would have it lol

Dunno about the comparison with Tak but I compared it to the VP in the normal box right there in the store and everything was identical.
