...I am both considering the idea of:

      buying it for starscream (or Thrust...as the colours dictate)

      BUT resisting buying it due to Cybertron VP (as i want the Galaxy Force incarnation)

 

But is VP that bad?

if so is both starscream and VP worth the $50.00CDN for the 2-pack?

Are there any other alternatives? (other than not buying it or waiting for a great sale..)

I'm going to buy it sometime. I have GF SS and VP, I like the Thrust colors, and I *like* the white Hasbro version of VP's colors. Sorta makes him look like a "young" less dingy/antiquated VP.

i skipped it and imported GF starscream... and i'm thinking about burning my cybertron Vector prime and ordering the GF version of him too

I just keep one Vector Prime in robot mode and one in ship mode.

i bought the 2 pack about a week ago...since then, Vector Prime did not leave the Packaging until last night.  What do i plan to do with it? option A) Attempt a Kitbash turning him into Megatron, Alpha Trion or atleast more show accurate.  Option B) the completist in me says this...Because it is a diffrent colour from my far more supior GF Vector Prime, i could make myself believe this is just a repaint, and learn to love it...but i doubt that lol

Bought the two pack over the weekend, much to the dismay of my wallet due to the great colors of the starscream, which has since joined the ranks of my decepticons as Thrust. 

 

What I plan to do is use the Vector Prime Head for an alt kitbash.  It is the right size and will work really well with some of the molds that are already out there or are being planned.  Or just paint all of VP into a nemises version of himself.  Not sure what yet. 

 

But the starscream is kick ass next the giant one from Cybertron. 

Two words: Alpha Trion

unless there's a good sale, I don't plan on getting hte set.

I thought the pack was worth it, Starscream really works in the Thrust color scheme, and Thrust was my second favorite G1 seeker. As for Vector Prime, I had a GF one already, but my wife always liked him, so I gave it to her. If that hadn't have been the case though, I would have bashed him into Alpha Trion or something.

I bought it and gave VP to my son, now we both have one.
